I actually found your channel because we are using BJU online for our first year of homeschooling. I dont know if you have this same takeaway but for my 6th grader its a lot of work. Coming from public school she has struggled to get the work done and doesn't understand the videos as well. We went with this option because i have a 7 month old and a 2nd grader as well so i wanted to ease myself in. I want to switch next year to something that is a bit more flexible so we can actually explore and not be so strapped to the computer. I would love a cirriculum comparison video :)

Yes, it is a lot of work. I quickly cut down the workload due to student burnout. We are no longer using BJU, but it filled a need for my sanity for a period of time. :)

How do you like power homeschool Math so far? I have considered power homeschool, Teaching textbooks, Bju and even CLE😅 So many options. I would love to find one to stick to long term .

So far we are liking the Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 classes with Power Homeschool. My kids prefer the shorter videos and seem to be catching it. My 4th grader is still using BJU for Math with me as her teacher instead of the videos.

I printed some from Confessions of a Homeschooler and other free printables I found online. Just search "free printable workbox labels". I cut out and laminated, then put velcro dots on the back.
