That sucks about the mirror! In Japan they do this method where if something - like a piece of pottery - breaks, they'll repair it with liquid gold, which ironically makes the piece even more valuable than it was before it broke. Maybe you can do something like that for the mirror? You could even try gold leaf which is very cheap, or maybe something with glitter in it? Or perhaps an acrylic paint that sets thick, which could make it look like strings lining the cracks?

For what it's worth, yes, there are other heavier, tougher things that people are going through, but that doesn't make this shitty customer service experience any less frustrating. It can give you perspective when you feel like you might be dwelling, but what I've realized in situations like these is that ultimately what gets to me is not that the product arrived damaged, it's the indifference of the customer service team and the complete unwillingness to try to do ANYTHING but the bare minimum to help. It sucks, and I am sorry that it happened. You're totally right to feel frustrated and kinda taken advantage of.

Hi Dear Trish. I'm wondering if there is some way to repair your mirror. I'm thinking something like silver paint over some kind of filler putty...or maybe silver gilding that is applied in layers, sanded in between. Moses can do it, with his Artistic eye!
