i just hope that the thing that you can no longer do the skip in azure vault by jumping down remains, i hated that skip so much because i never wanted to do it as a tank because the frogs were just the easiest trash ever but i often got kicked out of pug groups because i didnt want to do that stupid skip that a lot of people failed at anyway

Personally I like having the choice of doing what you want, but I understand things can get toxic in PUG groups for sure. Hell before they even put the kill wall up top groups were opting to play the frog area anyways so it's not like doing the skip was necessarily the most optimal thing to do, I just think it's cool to have options.

@@Tactyks in general i prefer dungeons to be as linear as possible and with as little variation for routes as possible. like throne of the tides, you basically need the entire dungeon so ive never had any problems in pugs in there. i do somewhat high keys myself, i timed almost all of the dungeons on 27 this season and i mostly run with pugs, and every time someone tries to do skips or some really weird pulls thats when things go badly, while the keys where i had the most success is when its just a very basic and simple route but the worst part about the toxicity regarding that azure vault skip in particular was that people even expected that in normal dungeons, when i leveled some more characters and went into dungeons people were so insisting on doing that stupid skip in a damn leveling dungeon i got kicked a few times, apearently queueing for a new healer or tank (i mostly leveled those two roles) was faster in their opinion than just going downstairs

That note you skipped at the bottom seems interesting that there’s a hard mode dawn with hero track items. There’s all of the tier slot drops there plus weapons and trinkets which could be a good early boost in loot depending on the loot frequency and if a dungeon week hits in early gearing.

Yeah will need to check it out on PTR, I know the loot will be on a weekly lockout but could be interesting for some of the special stat items or trinkets in there if you're able to get them on hero track.

@@Tactyks also depending on what hard mode implies. If it’s too many hoops to jump through it might not be better than just doing m+ as normal.

@@johnj4471 it will depend, there is some good loot in the dawn dungeons and hardmode i think last season scaled to hero track item levels so it might still be worth in that regard even if its not m+

What about lockouts? I did not see anything about them and did not know how they worked I typically play a different class every patch and run 1-10's early to get gear because I am very undergeared typically. But M0 is currently on lockout so I can't run 20 M0 week one to get caught up like I usually would and running a +11 would be a little scetch at say 420 ilvl? Is this a nonfactor I am worried about or is this going to keep playing fresh toons at the beginning of a patch?

Mythic 0's will be on a lockout, but drop gear equivalent to a +10. You won't be able to spam them, but there are basically 10 of them available (8 DF + Dawn Mega Dungeon) which is a decent chunk of potential gear. The new +2 will also be easier than the equivalent current +11 since you'll be losing an affix and only need to worry about fort/tyran, so I don't think it should be too bad!

Kind of wish the changes came with pictures of the mobs/bosses cause I'm a dummy who doesn't remember names that well.

im actaully pretty happy with this, you spend time and get rewarded. Now i just need another 40 hours of LFR to get the last adamantium ingot for the damn mace, i can upgrade it as soon as i get that.... lol

If Doti is in here it's a dissapointment. Can't wait to do this dungeon 3 tiers in a row weekly or for M+ it's been so fun. kekw

Luckily DotI is not in the M+ pool, it will be available on m0 with hardmode though apparently.

Yeah I'm hoping the rumours of them moving to an 18 month expansion timeframe are true, would give us 3 real seasons of regular length as opposed to what we have now. Fated (or Awakened now I guess) was fine in SL because we just wouldve gotten nothing otherwise and they did a lot of interesting experiments, but if this is all we get I'm not sure I'm a fan.

Eh, I dunno man. Not a fan of this content 'recycling' patch model they're going with. Good additions I suppose, but it shouldn't be like this.

@@brice9013 I'm more in the camp of getting new stuff, like we used to have until Shadowlands where they first implemented this style of bootleg patch.

I thought it was okay in SL since they had clearly given up on the expac at that point and they did a ton of experimenting (including what lead to the current gear upgrade system), but it definitely feels not great to repeat the cycle in DF, especially if this is all we're getting. Really hoping for some interesting affix experiments otherwise it's a bit disappointing for sure.

These don't seem to be good changes. Removing +2 ~ +9 might drive the casual majority into higher difficulty keys than the levels they are comfortable with. And when they have encountered more defeats than they can tolerate, they will leave, resulting in a much smaller player base for M+.

But in the place of +2 to +9 keys you instead get to do untimed content with no affixes, which seems like something that would make those players more comfortable to me, but maybe I'm wrong there? They'll have the option to do higher difficulty content as always, but they'll be able to get the same or even better rewards doing lower pressure content which seems like a positive all around.

Uldaman was bad and by almost no change will stay the least played dungeon, nobody likes it.

No the dungeons should be even difficulty but different. So that some classes and comps are just better at certain dungeons so there won’t be a meta.

Hate the whole df dungeon pool, was terrible xpac all around to me. Nerfs are good, more is better, just need to get thru to next expansion and hope it comes with more personality than this past one. After all, need some “war” in warcraft

99% of the playerbase doesnt push dungeons, so who cares about dungeon changes....your whole video talks about things that affects less than 1% of the people who log on.

most of the playerbase does m+ dungeons there are way less people that dont play dungeons than the ones that do for example, 3.7 million characters have completed a mythic+ dungeon this season

Dungeon nerfs impact more than just players that "push" dungeons, if you're someone just doing weekly keys or just stepping foot into M+ then having trash or boss abilities being weaker makes that easier for you as well. Also you don't have to watch it if you aren't interested in the content :)
