I love Kazuma and Aqua, they're like best friends basically. They're both dumb af, SOLIDLY dirtbags, and share so many personality mannerisms you'd never know that haven't been friends since childhood (from the perspective of the people they hang around) When they aren't insulting each other or fighting (also traits of best friends) they make a perfect duo. I love their chemistry and I'm so happy whenever I see them working together on the same incredibly dumb task.

Yes the whole crew in Konosuba are a bunch of idiots and that's what makes it fun to watch but all the times that show Kazuma can be really smart was cut from the anime. He is an idiot most of the time but he has been the one to come up with a plan to defeat the demon king generals. As for the Tranquility girl, in the LN they were actually introduced on the way to Megumin's village but they had to retroactively add her here. One of the passages that got cut was them being thankful he got to it before Yunyun did since she would most definitely fall victim to it.

I am amazed at how many people in the comments thought Eris/Chris was a huge spoiler -Similar names in Japanese (E-ree-soo, Cree-soo) -Same face except for a scar -same hair color -The chest size is specifically tied together in season 2 (Eris pads her chest) -Pretty sure the front of their hair is also the same (including the giant piece of hair that's swept to the right) Like you could figure it out in season 1 just by looking at the two side by side. And both characters had full frontal shots in season 1, meaning you could side-by side their face and the front of their hair.
