I received mine today and it is stunning (same color). The lume is about it's only real issue. It could be stronger. That said, it's a GMT not a diver. A better clasp, a 24 bidi bezel would be my suggestions.

I’m was about to click the white MOP but now that I’ve seen the pale blue MOP, looks stunning. Not too shiny. Is the date cut-out bevelled? The all white dial would benefit from a silver stainless border around the date cut out I feel; like the S446.

I went with the sunray blue dial. Very impressed, it's up there with San Martin in terms of finishing. Everything lines up and wears really well. Just an upgrade to on the fly micro adjust clasp for the v2 but they said on the Instagram account that they were working on it. Hopefully will be sold separately for first gen buyers.

I'll save you a bit of digging on the farasute Movement. it's a modified clone of the old Seiko 7009A movements (those automatics in Old seiko 5's) it's been modified for the 6 o clock seconds, and no day/date. I'm not seeing anything on the Hangzhou website that matches this one, so it may be a one-off for Farasute? I also confirmed the power reserve at roughtly 40 hours (some info popped up on reddit that it had 96 hours...that's not true)

Hmm...the uni-directional bezel on the GS homage is kind of disappointing on a $200+ watch. I ordered a MOP dial/green bezel one that's on the way and I saw a production introduction video before ordering that showed bi-directional bezel. I guess ultimately it's not a huge deal as you can use the bezel either way, but this seems to be a higher-end homage that should be on par with the San Martin Zulu time homage, which does have a bi-directional GMT bezel. I have a SBGJ275 so I am looking forward to seeing how close it comes to the real thing in terms of appearance.

@@TheWatcherReviews I got the S456 in and initial impression is that appearance-wise, I'd say it is about 95% of my Grand Seiko GMT. I'm impressed. I'm sure the GS has finer polishing of the case and indicies, but it's hard to tell with the naked eye. My S456 has the MOP dial, and while I don't know if it's real MOP, it looks good and compared to other MOP dials I have seen (I own one), it looks the part. I have the Longines Zulu Time and its San Martin copy, and while the San Martin is a very nice watch in it's own right, it's pretty clear that the Zulu Time has superior applied numerals and dial elements when you see how light reflects off of it. With the S456, I can't really tell too much of a difference. The GS's indicies may be a little bit more reflective, but it's much much closer. My S456 does come with a slightly mis-aligned bezel, and I don't like the uni-directional bezel on a GMT watch, so that part is disappointing. But the mis-alignment is slight enough that I'll just overlook it. At first glance I'd say the S456 is very very nice but could easily be improved upon with a bi-directional bezel and adjustable clasp.

I do understand the reason since the white fonts on the upper part would disappear on the white background of the section below, however it is definitely a huge fault from the design point of view. For me this is a deal breaker Such a thing must be highlighted in the review (Furthermore the unidirectional rotation does not fit to the watch style) Still love your videos 👍😙
