As someone said, it is a Chopard 1860 homage, but in 39mm…while the Chopard is smaller..also the Chopard has a date window at 6, which in my opinion was a mistake, the watch looks a lot better with no date window. Now you can find the salmon dial in 37 mm but it’s a special “Revolution “ edition with a different guilloche pattern, and that limited edition comes with no date window…So this Farasute is for some the Chopard that they wanted but didn’t exist; a little bigger and no date window, with four color options. The Chopard that had this exact guilloche pattern is now discontinued, btw. I have this silver dial one and it’s fantastic. Also interesting to comment is the big resemblance with another watch, the Philippe Dufour “simplicity”, which is a very admired and beloved grail watch for the top of the top watch lovers, usually sold for hundreds of thousands in auctions, even over a million.

Looks good, i like it. I've had a solar Citizen military watch that i've worn to work for the last 14 years now and it hasn't missed a beat, and it gets beaten hard... Might invest in this. Thanks for sharing Zee.

One of the questions I have with these affordable, chronograph movements is whether the minute hand clicks over every minute or continues to move at tiny increments. That makes a big difference on being able to read the lapsed time quickly and accurately, especially if they’re using a 60 minute scale which they tend to do.

Sourcing 19mm straps is not much of a problem these days..plenty on AE..it is more not utilising all of the 20mm ones most of us probably have lying around..I paired it with a brown suede strap and it looks awesome

I must admit I was really shocked holding this one in the metal, and the sand dial version for that matter. Bought one for my nephew and one for my brother both not really watch guys but absolutely love them. The thinness for me is so nice in a world full of NH35 watches... They fit so close to the wrist.

I wonder what it would take for Steeldive/Addiesdive to finally get rid of those horrid logos.

In all previous sales this was in my buying cart but never pulled the trigger. Mainly for two reasons. First, design is rather strict (as the original...), secondly this lug opening won't let me change straps (I ALWAYS do...). Plus, got lot of plain 3hands/baton indices watches. I think SM are slipping, where's the capped seconds hand? To be fair this isn't really my cup of tea, so I am most definitely biased, but a few years back I really rated SM, I've got a couple of their watches from a few years back that are really good, one of the best bezel actions I've felt on any watch (subjective I know) these days I look occasionally but I think other makers are making the designs I favour better than SM. Seestern in particular I think are every bit as good. Nice to have more "high end" choice though isn't it?

Got a couple of their "Monster" homages, and they are superb, but I'm afraid this watch is disappointing to say the least ! The Thorn looks hugely superior. Great review as always !!

They waited 2 years to release a homage of a watch that every other homage brand on AE already homages? I’m about done with these Chinese homages. Come up with something original, or at least homage something unique.

The Octopus Kraken version of this homage is better, easily better than both Thorn and Heimdallr. Also Watchdives does the best Seamaster 300 homage now. They also do a 39mm version.

This is a great everyday watch.

Personally, I feel names like Chronomyst, Meridian Crown, Mystic Chronos, Moonlit Chronos, Tempus Arcana, Arcanum, or Obscura Time would suit the brand much better than 'Mysterious Code.'

Honestly, wearing a 'Mysterious Code' watch feels like I'm about to disarm a ticking bomb or unlock a secret vault. But hey, at least it keeps time... I think. Every time someone asks me what brand my watch is, I have to lean in close, lower my voice, and whisper... 'It's Mysterious Code.' Then I vanish into the shadows.😂

I love my Heimdallr-Hommages. Excellent built and great Lume. But please, bring back the shark, the new Logo with the questionable Valknut symbol is not good.

The shark was cool, but it made no sense to me with the Heimdallr name and I actually kind of dig the new branding.
