NEW SERATO DJ PRO 2.4 STREAMING FEATURE TO OBS

I've used this in a live stream setting for the 2nd time and it's excellent. It also doesn't add much load to the computer either, if any at all. Virtual Audio Cable (lite) is free and seems to work fine, if not better than fine. The trial version has more to it but also has a voice tag in it every few seconds so either use lite or pay for it. But for the cost you might wanna consider getting an external Audio interface. I dunno.

Wondering if anyone has looked into this: I'll be using an SX3 for a stream soon with another dj. I've used my SR2 before with Serato straight into OBS this way. However, with the SX3, if I have LAPTOP A plugged into the SX3 running Serato + OBS, will it pick up the DJ playing music on the same SX3 but through LAPTOP B plug in?

Hi Ivan, thank you for the video. I have Serato 2.4.1 and OBS and I just installed Virtual Audio Cable (Lite). I enabled the option "Make audio available for other applications" in Serato but when I select an input source in OBS (Line 1 = Virtual audio cable), no sound is coming through. I can see the sound coming from the Desktop but not from the Virtual audio cable... Have you heard of this issue ?

That can happen at times. Did you restart the computer?

Every time I go live with mixcloud the volume increase on its own

I am using a Ddj sx 3 controller with serato 2.42 and MacBook Pro with iPhone as webcam and obs and obs studio also ishowu the problem I am having is that the audio is extremely loud when I decide to go live on mixcloud and the volume just keeps increasing on it’s own my studio speakers are on zero yes I said zero and it sounds like it wants to explode from the noise

Lower the main volume in Serato. Also add a limiter filter on the audio source in obs.

@@drevolution4975 there is 2 gains. One in Serato and the others on your ddj. Lower the one in Serato and also the gains on your controller. One of them is giving you the problem. You right click the source in obs and select filters. Add the one with limiter.

Not every computer has this feature. Macbooks stopped using this feature. Windows computers are ok but you're still lowering the quality of audio if using an external sound card vs having the main output directly from serato.

I hear you and I didn't have the option you have. I bought an external Audio device to send master RCA to aux line in to the audio device which is great but wow I just used this new beta update and the audio is so so sooooo clean straight into OBS via the Virtual Audio Cable (lite). I highly recommend it.
