They need to recalibur their shrink wrap machines. They pull them so tight that it's literally impossible to get them open. Do they not have any buddy to check out quality control. I'm not into these things myself but I've seen enough openings to know that this is a huge part of the opening is the satisfaction in pulling the tear strip and unwrapping the ball.

I loved series 1 & I don't know anything about fashion brands, I just love the tiny realistic bags. I like that there is more to collect in this series, but what I don't like is that because there's so many accessories, it seems like you would have to get a lot of duplicate bags if you wanted to collect them all. Or do you really get the same accessories depending on what bag you get? It's not as fun if it's not a surprise.

Personally, I don't collect these, but they are adorable. I do actually love miniatures, but the repeat luggage is a cool one. I'd prefer it to the pink purse, honestly. I don't have the space to put anything so trinkety :p Sadly. I think if the pink bag had a C on it or a C keychain, that would have made it that much better. The style is okay, but I prefer the other things. Love these videos. I'm trying to get out of a mental rut. You're doing great!

I wonder if the branding thing has to do with infringement from knock-offs and such. Real food v.s. toy food are easy to distinguish, but if the brand gives Mini Brands the okay to use there trademarks, then knock-offs might be able to claim their bags or whatever are 'toys' so not infringing on any trademarks/copyright.

Yes but the orange slice packaging is very Planet unfriendly. This is why they've switched over to the bags. None of these balls are recyclable and all end up in landfill. Any step to reduce this is welcome. There are so many different types of these capsules now that I can't even begin to imagine the quantity that are going out in people's garbage everyday. I'm pleased to see that the LOL dolls have switched to paper balls and their bags are all paper. They really were for a long time one of the biggest culprits. Sorry for the vent but I'm an older girl and was sure that by this time all of this excess Packaging would have been all but completely eliminated. It seems to be getting worse. Sorry to be a party pooper

@@terriandlola if they are that's really good news but I haven't been able to find any information on that. In Canada it very clearly states that we cannot recycle any plastic toys or plastic toy Packaging. The thing is even if we could that's extremely overloading the system. It's very difficult to keep up as it is. They've completely discontinued the use of all plastic bags in grocery stores to lighten the load and they take up much less room than all of this Packaging. I honestly would be very pleased if I was mistaken. I would love to see move in the direction that LOL but they just keep creating new lines of Minis that only add to the problem. Do you by any chance have a link or can tell me where you saw this. I hate to criticize especially if I'm misinformed. Anyway sorry if I'm ranting this is just a subject that I'm kind of passionate about. Thank you for your response and have a very merry Christmas.

@@terriandlola thank you so much I hate to sound like one of those people. LOL so now the question why if you have them in the UK do we not have them here? I would think that the states for some reason would be ahead of us and the UK in new packaging. I hope it isn't because they feel that the UK is less likely to be tolerant of that then we are. Oh no now I'm not as concerned about the recycling as I am about why they're continuing to put things out in plastic when they already have another Factory in place that supplies the UK. I feel like apologizing again. I was a teenager in the 70s and we always had a Cause. For some reason I believed that by this time everything that was harmful to the planet would have been discontinued. That was a little naive. LOL I want to give a great big shout out to the UK for doing their part. We just started 6 months ago to use our own shopping bags. The amount of plastic bags that you were given with one basket of groceries was shocking sometimes they would put one or two items in each bag. It did take a while to get used to it but now my whole backseat is full of extra bags and I always have a couple of cute nylon ones stuffed in my purse it's amazing how quickly Things become a way of life.
