I had a German Shepard named Max. H was a retired police k-9. He got cancer on his nose and they couldn’t do anything for him that wouldn’t have left him disfigured and missing half his face. I found him dead on my way to the fire station a couple years ago. He was the perfect family dog. So loyal and he loved his family. Love the new service truck!

One of my last service truck was a new Ford F350 dually with the V-10. It had a 10' Knapheid service body. It had a sectional slide top lid, so carrying full size torches I ran with the slide one notch forward. Otherwise it was closed to keep rain and snow off the refrigerant jugs and other good stuff. Plus it kept people with sticky fingers a little more honest when working in the big city where sometimes the truck has to be parked two blocks away from the job. My actual LAST truck was the 8.1 litre dually Chevy hooked to the Allison automatic with a 10' service body. This time the body had full height where I could stand up inside. It had shelves inside the shell and the normal tool box similar to yours accessed from the outside. Doing commercial HVAC service I had literally dozens of parts in boxes to keep track of in addition to hundreds of copper refrigerant fittings as well as black iron gas pipe fittings. I really liked both of those trucks, but the Allison automatic in my estimation was by far the superior tranny. I loved the trailer tow mode with the flip of the switch !! You have a nice set up with easy access to everything. Not packed and overcrowded like I had.

So far it has exceeded my expectations. I know everyone was “diesel crazy” for a long time but in my humble opinion that’s just not the smart option for me and my situation. I love these big has burners and their less costly maintenance 👍

I did the same v10,gas and maintenance is cheap and i can replace the engine for less than half of the diesel congrats great truck

Getting told same thing about my new to me trk, had 3 diesels, 2 dodge an 1 ford, now went gas, only i found super with 6.2 instead 6.8. Otherwise similar trk, didnt want crew, but wanted more than regular cab. Love the trk same as you an yours

I’ve driven a 6.2 in a 4x4 3/4 ton and it impressed me. Is like to think that the diesel craze is over with. Myself I want something reliable. I own a International S1900, the service truck in the video, a 94 F250 with the 5.8, a 93 Chevy K1500. I’m all about the dependability 👍. Thanks for the view and the comment!

Awesome video!! I like your truck! How would the V10 do for towing? (Might have to look that one up.) I like that your German shepherd’s name is Charlie, reminds me of the movie “All Dogs Go To Heaven”.

They do ok at towing from what I’ve read. I haven’t pulled much with this truck, I just needed a good heavy duty service truck and so far I’ve been pleased. Fuel mileage is low but I knew that going into it. Charlie is spoiled and it’s my fault lol…but he’s my buddy and he enjoys going to work with me!
