QOTD: But controversial, but wing attack. in my opinion, only Gligar and arguably Mantine were teetering into obnoxious territory, so a nerf for one(or two) of them had been justified in my eyes. That said, if that was Niantic’s goal, than a much more streamline way to nerf them would be to nerf their coverage charge move, rather than the massive collateral damage from a wing attack nerf. Straightforwardly, dog being nerfed alone would probably be enough to do Gligar in, and the same goes for a water pulse nerf on Mantine. Conveniently, no other pokemon (meta, at least) ever runs either of those moves, so collateral damage is minimal. You could argue that Mantine will just go back to ice beam, but honestly, not having to play the guessing game of what coverage move it has is alone a serious nerf to it. Previously, that is what made Mantine so strong, imo. We need more flying types at this time, as ground types especially (mud slippers, anyone?) need stronger checks. Grass types are sure a nice way around this, but the issue with grass as a whole is it’s a very allignment dependent type-it either wins hard or loses terribly. Flying types (as a whole), imo, have a bit more safety to them than grass types, and introducing more checks (by reverting the wing attack nerf) would keep those mud-slappees balanced.

I kind of would of liked to see Counter become a 7D 7E move rather than a 8D 6E. While im not as doom and gloom as other people are about Counter, with Force Palm being so damage heavy and Double Kick/Karate Chop being energy based, it would of been nice if Counter had just been the neutral fighting type fast move. That being said, I understand in some ways why the did it, considering it was the only real way to nerf some of the more meta mons like Poliwrath.

Spending tons of Stardust for the Dialga special effect, so doing 33/39 minutes each day for the blue incense: I definitely feel you, because I don't see anymore Galarian Birds, in the past I got sometimes 2 encounters for a single run, but in the last three weeks at least, it looks like they totally disappeared!
