Those tracks are Wild Turkey tracks most likely. They would rather walk rather than fly, and spend lots of time on the ground.

I was just on the AT today (it runs right by my house in VT. I hike it a lot.) After the recent snow, I had to break trail and I noticed exactly the same thing. The coyotes stick to the trail. It’s very interesting. Those “pterodactyl” tracks were wild turkeys 🦃 How is Truck driver? Guess it wasn’t anything serious. Keep on walking! Enjoying the follow. Love seeing all the small things like cooking and filtering water. You don’t usually see people recording that stuff because it’s boring, but I appreciate it. 👍
