Hobbywing does ALL of the spektrum motors, escs. Surface, water and air. I'm in the process of swapping ALL my fave birds over, (12 faves, 45 total. Yes, I have a problem 🤷‍♂️), power is enormous! (HW also let's other companies use their stuff. Redcat, Arrma, yada, yada, yada)

Seems like after the last update, the min startup rpm was lower on my 3300kv Axe. I also went back to a 58t spur and 11t pinion. I run a bit heavier rig with the brake set at 85% and it holds steady on any incline, very impressed. The lower it can be set, the better just imo.

Been running this exact same Axe in my Element enduro on 3s for about a year now, never let me down, it's so smooth and controllable. I ended up removing the esc fan as it never gets hot enough to warrant it's use, makes it near silent without it too.

Yeah. Have installed many of these systems. Never installed the fan.

Agree with the fan being useless. I have 2 axes. Put miles trailing and never got hott enough to need. The fusion pro on the other hand would probably benefit sucker warms up fast imo trx6 stock gearing, just went from 11t pinion to 9t to see if that helps on the trails.

oe, I’ve been running the powerhobby Armor tires also just here on TN rock. Coming to the conclusion that either the compound isn’t the best or the tire carcass is just too thick. I had to use Ottsix ultra air down & vented to get them to conform. And in the rear even with the regular air down foams the tires still feel as if they have stuff foams in them.

When I vented the tires the carcass of them was really thick. So I may try to sand or shave it down some to see if it helps. But overall for the price I’m not happy with them on our rocks.

in some ways yeah but this is still a shorter motor so thats a benefit plus these can take more abuse is more basher situations

That's what I put in my Capra right after I bought it. It's a nice motor. Now I just have to figure out how to mount a micro servo for the dig so I don't have to cut up the cage (using the Vanquish 3-gear and dig). I was writing down your setup tips -- you say set neutral to deadband 6% and expo to ramp? Did I hear that right? I'm new at this so I have no idea what that stuff means. :)

Too much power for a beginner platform it came with a 55t. been there done that, unless the entire drive train is upgraded you'll be blowing through parts especially the shit dog bones and trans
