Given how unstable "Instant Action Overhaul XL" looks, I don't think I'll even try it, but it's still really cool from the mod dev to make it available. Such a shame that EA never went the extra mile and given us all the game modes offline. These game modes will be lost forever once the servers are down.

It's incredible how the simple inclusion of bot matches have skyrocketed my enjoyment of the game. When I was a kid that's all I did in og bf and later in gears of war franchise, it was relaxing and fun. Nowadays hardly any games let you do that, and only let you enjoy the game in a hyper sweaty competitive online setting. Which usually just gets frustrating being cannon fodder for some dude with 600 hours in the game and I quit. After playing a good while on xbox, I dont think I played a hero character for more than like 5 minutes. WHY do more games not have a bot mode?? It's perfect if you want to enjoy the smooth gunplay but not worry about dying every 30 seconds to some guy across the map with a 50-3 kd ratio. And if you want it a bit harder you can always crank up the difficulty. Battlefield 3, 4, and 1 would have been incredible if you could do bot matches. It also ensures that the game will never truly "die", even if nobody is online you can always fire up a match.

This is what devs should launch with the official game, all online modes into single player, like old Battlefronts. Its a shame for console players cause we never will got this experience…

The devs always argued that it would've been too difficult to make the bots work in Galactic Assault, specifically with the picking up Ion Disruptors to use against Walkers. Still would've been nice as the Galactic Assault maps have always been more lively, lots of animated characters and moving things around, where as in Instant Action most of that has been stripped out.

I've tried instant action overhaul xl and the bots dont spawn in any gamemodes besides supremacy. Does anyone know a fix?

Also does anyone else have to have GA offline + IA Overhaul XL in different saves on Frosty? Because they seem to interact weirdly for me and cause one of the two to bug out

You probably shouldn't be using them together. IA Overhaul XL already adds an offline Galactic Assault mode, you would have to use either IA Overhaul XL or GA offline, but not both together.
