New Sitka Gear Hyperdown Jacket Review | Worth the steep price?

I just picked one up. A buddy and me hunted in the recent Florida blizzard with temps in the high teens and an accumulation of 8" of snow. He used the Hyper-Down jacket and was completely blown away by the performance. The jacket stayed dry throughout the hunt and he was completely warm. Based of Sitka's sizing recommendation I went with a large. I am 5'8" and 165 lbs. I take a large in all the other Sitka jackets so I hope this runs true to size.

Regarding washing your sitka gear; follow the washing instructions and you'll be fine. I have quite a few of there jackets, coats, and hoodies and have washed them a few times a year w/out issues. Their down products, I wash twice & then dry twice (yes, back to back) b/c that's what it's recommended for down products. Great review!
