0:27 Skarner's Q damage, W shield, and E damage all scale off max health, so it does help you clear faster and healthier. Obviously, picking up a tiamat is gonna speed up anyone's clears, more than someone without it, I just think it's a bit dishonest to say it does "nothing" for your clear to pick up Heartsteel

W doesnt scale off of HP and the E has low base damage to where getting stridebreaker for the attack speed, the slow and ad plus half as much health as the highest health tank item in the game makes sense. Its good for ganks, frontlining and clearing and therefore does everything Heartsteel does plus everything you need that Heartsteel doesnt do

I think if you grab someone with Skarner's E the second part has a different and shorter independent length, so it looks like it extends it a little bit even if you're already past the limit marker. so if you hit them at the very end you go way past it and thats why it "gives it to you"

ive tried him with conqueror i still think Aftershock is the ideal rune for him in the jungle. He does crazy damage with Liandrys and Hearsteel and other tank items.

If I don't build super tanky on skarner I just get absolutely melted. He's a weird champ.

I think, for Skarner, you get .x seconds from the time you grab someone regardless when you grab them. So if you grab at the front or tail end of the dash you get the same time to displace them.

After changes tank build seems more viable no? bc of dmg and slow nerfs on his q and w.

Heartsteal is better in lane especially vs. A melee champ. But kingstix is right vs. Jungle. Also, a lot of skarner's abilities are weird because the animation is noticeably off from the actual range that hits. And a final note, his E has a dash range and an added range AFTER the grab. That's why it "seems" longer after you grab someone.

Your E range is extended if you hit something. It has a set distance otherwise.
