Water witching has already been disproven, but you can absolutely find people gullible enough to pay for this "skill". I can do the exact same thing, with the exact same results. Water is literally everywhere underground. We have zoning protocols to properly channel water so sinkholes aren't as prevalent.

So the water isnt in a line. Its a table. Its pretty safe to say youd hit water regardless of where you drill and there would be little to no way to tell if you hit a "better" water table anyways.
