The two current types of smite damage are regular like Liu Che, and ranged like Gonzala Cordoba.

I think the smite dmg bonus being relatively low compared to skill dmg bonus, is due to the lack of normal/smite dmg reduction (why smite dmg's been so OP)

Ranged smite and normal smite Aoe smite and passive smite damage> since u have to have Wallace primary it will be hard to put Lui Che second. But Wallace is a clear pickup if u have a ranged smite guy he looks like a fit as second also.

Once Guan gets the extra defense now people can just put him back with Scipio. Infantry is extremely strong now. I got to find a paring for sargon now

I'm going to explore it further, but I think Liu che/leonidas might be a very tanky combo. In a sample size of 1, Liu Che with 5515 Leonidas performed the same as a max guan/scipio combo when fighting a max scipio/Liu Che in a duel. A max Leonidas should punish marches on its way out due to its tanks boost in its expertise. If anyone is interested, I'll follow-up with results once I complete testing

First skill doesn't say that William has to be surrounded. William can potentially hit his target with 2400+300 smote damage. It only says whoever is attacking gets hit , up to 3.

So his smite damage active skill is 2700 . And has 80% to get an additional 40%=.8* 0.40* 2400=0.32*2400= 768 additional damage which means his active skill would be= 2400+300+768=3468 for one turn and 2700 for next turn (because of cool down 10 seconds)

What scares me, specially for ball fightning. -45 rage has no cooldown. No sign of being a debuff, can possibly be triggered multiple time in a single turn. With current wording you are looking at a possibility of gaining 0 rage ( or loose rage if theres no cap) by getting hit by 5 instances of smite damage on the same turn with no cooldowns. Also mighty shield + rage reduction in altars that allow only 1 march, Wallace/Liu will be PAIN

In my opinion the rest of the tree needs to be pretty iffy or they need an internal cooldown on that talent. I can’t imagine how slow ball fights will be if both sides are reducing 450 rage for people on both sides.
