I can't decide between this snare and the wasp??? Both are great, but this snare actually would be more versatile I'm thinking.

You're actually the second person that's mentioned the same two options to me! I tried out both at a drum show and took the Goblin, for exactly that reason, more versatile. Couple of months down the line and I can definitely say I made the right decision.
