You know man, I loved Blue October since I was a kid when they released into the ocean. Back then, of course they had some serious emotion, but the older I get and the more I listen, the more it blows me away, and the more developed I feel it’s become. Even in this song where it sings about love, you can feel the pain of the journey that took him to this moment. That really resonates with me and my personal life. So much has happened.... even in the happiest of times, there is still the scars of the past...being able to move on and just embrace the now and the future is so beautiful... it can be hard, but it makes everything so much sweeter. Maybe it doesn’t for others, but this song encompasses all the feelings for me.
