This TV is gorgeous and I'm glad that 4K is way more affordable these days but since I don't have much space in my room I will aim for a Monitor. I had the Samsung Odyssey G7 in mind which I could get at much lower cost at the moment^^

@@rasinshuriken It does have everything you mentioned and a Display Port if you need for your PC. HDR is also included. It is a perfect fit for the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X =)

I own this TV as well as the 77 inch LG C1. A lot of you tubers don't talk about it but the motion on the LG isn't very good, many panning scenes or fast moving scenes are choppy and studdery. There's none of that on the Sony. Apparently Lg supplies Sony with the Oled panels, but it's the processors that make the difference. LG has the A9 processor and Sony has the XR processor. If you're going to buy a 4k TV whether it's an Oled or just an Led 4k or 8k TV, I highly recommend buying a Sony with the XR processor. Also, some KZbinrs complain that the Sonys only have two 4k/120 hdmi ports in the back, but I find most people would plug their consoles into a home theatre receiver anyways.

Normally I use LG OLED and they have been nothing but outstanding for PS4, PS5 and movies. 55C7 and more recently 77GX. I'm debating A90K 42" vs LG C1 42" for our smaller room to play mostly PS5 and some movies. Irrespective of the price difference should I stick with LG or should I get the SONY. Most reviews say LG are better for gaming but SONY supposedly has BRAVIA only PS5 features unavailable anywhere else.

@@MasterTony21i the only one I’m seeing on my BRAVIA a80j is auto hdr tone mapping where you don’t have to setup HDR yourself as the tv knows the best settings for the game. There’s also an upscaling feature which a lot of TVs have and the basic VRR and ALLM. Besides that SONY tvs in general just seem to have the best clarity and colors compared to any other OLED on the market. I cant speak for lcd or other types of panels

I tried this and it's competition C2 this year. At this point everyone has heard the Sony is better for tv watching while LG is the better gaming tv. I would like to add to that after a month with my A90K. In 120fps that most console games aim for these days, you won't notice a difference in input lag. It is so low you won't think about it. In 30 and 60fps however that's where LG easily wins. In fifa for example i would go with LG because everything needs to run fast and smooth. So why A90k? For me personally i choose A90K because the picture is much better balanced than LG's oversaturated contrast between bright and dark, it's kinda distracting while A90K is more realistic. When i played Uncharted 4 remaster and Modern Warfare 2 recently and felt the near instant input lag response when i ran them in 120fps, the choice was easy for me. Input lag is a non-issue in 120fps. A90K doesn't support 1440p though if you care about that.

@@MasterTony21i I still feel the same. If all games runs at 120fps then Sony is easily the winner because they feel the same while you get the nicer picture. It's games that runs at 60fps you'll notice it. LG handles it much better. Fifa runs at 60fps and LG is a much better option for that. Kept the sony for the picture though. I would just get a smaller monitor for Fifa if you have the space for it.

They're both fine for gaming for most people. Most won't notice the differences in input lag in any game at any frame rate. Now if you're a pro gamer LG C2 will have a small edge but at that point a monitor would be superior.

@@JustMikeBro thanks man i messed around with hdmi 3 on the ps5 a little bit and basically calibrated it to how the vivid mode is out of the box. Except i changed hdr mode to HLG. Didnt like bt2020 had way too much red and looked very oversaturated the others looked too blown out as well so i chose Bt.709 and thought it looked great. I also maxed out the gamma. But overall this tv is badass. I think it beats the lg except in gaming. But for movies and regular tv the sony has a more accurate picture. But i think the sony has terrible motion handling on movies and shows the lg is superior in motion handling for sure. But for audio and picture the sony i think is better. Also i think the color space quality depends on the game some color space options look better on certain games than others

Just so were clear theres no way of playing 4k 120 together on console lol. Playing any ps5 game at 120 will reduce the resolution to 1080 automatically

I would be worried about burn in playing the same game for a long time + auto brightness dimming with OLEDs I heard its pretty annoying

I really don’t understand why ppl are so worried about Burn-In still. This is 2022. Technology has improved so much since OLEDs were first introduced. Burn-Ins are much less likely to happen unless you REALLY abuse your TV, which, you wouldn’t. You aren’t going to be playing the same game 24/7. 9 times out of 10 you’ll be switching contents every now and then. So really you have nothing to worry about. Just enjoy the TV and if you want a peace of mind, get a 5yr warranty at Best Buy. They cover literally everything.

@@iLoskii but I dont think warranty covers Burn in from prolonged periods of gaming, thats the thing. If I were to watch TV or movies, sure, I would not be worried. But lets say over the weekend, all I do is play Destiny. So lets say 8 - 10 hours per day. Wouldnt u be worried about burn in with OLED? Not to mention to ABL lowering the brightness the longer u keep playing. I do have curtains, but I dont wonna be limited, or be worried about leaving the same game on for the entire weekend.

@@funcreator1726 Tbh with you, no. The reason why i say this is cause people over exaggerate alot about Burn Ins. I get what you’re saying, but you aren’t being limited whatsoever. I still have my LG CX that has 19k hours, almost pushing 20k with no burn in at all. Mind you, i use it for gaming like Battlefield, CoD, Destiny and many other games 90% of the time. But i’ll be upgrading to the LG C2 next week. Like i’ve stated before, Burn-Ins in today’s technology is VERY less likely to happen, but that doesn’t mean you’re invulnerable. You’d really have to abuse tf outta the TV to REALLY get burn ins. Take this from someone like me, i’ve used several OLEDs, been gaming on them for years, never experienced burn in at all. Idk if you own one or not, but don’t let that fear distract you from not getting one. Once you get an OLED, you’ll never go back.

@@funcreator1726 ABL is something you can’t disable. It’s an inherent power limitation. Every OLED has it. But tbh with you, even if it lowers the brightness, it’s barely noticeable once you start getting use to OLEDs. But you can turn off ASBL (Automatic Static Brightness Limiter) which is what is causing the dimming some people complain about. But i think it voids your warranty (If you do get it) if you turn it off. But in the menu its called TPC (Temporal Peak luminance Control)

I'd be more likely to get a new TV for my PS5 if the PS5 had a decent wifi connection. It's much worse than my PS4. Any games (PS5) that requires a connection to the internet to play are unplayable. Extreme rubberbanding is prevalent.

OLEDS are not great for a bright room though QLEDs are much brighter in my opinion plus if you want to plug in your pc make sure it’s nvidia compatible,depending on your graphic card it doesn’t sync with some of these new Sony tvs. Plus OLEDS are known for burn in especially for hardcore gamers that average 8 hours per day. On QLEDs games can be played far longer without burn in.

I tried hooking up my new laptop to my A90K through HDMI it worked the first night but next day it showed frozen images, Took laptop back to Best Buy they hooked it up to different things and only worked on monitors and Samsung TV, did not work with bravia or LG.

@@tonydillinger2553 I bought a QLED QN90B! Best decision for someone that has a bright living room next to a window and likes to hook up their 3080ti pc build to a 65” tv. Sony and LGs have better color saturation, however they are made for low light environments and it’s a coin flip if it’s going to be compatible with nvidia graphic cards.

A cheap alternative are Celsus TV's about £300 do the job used one for years on my PS4 still use one now with my PC rig...You don't have to spend over a grand to get a decent TV like Arekkz is trying to convince people with.
