I put a Kenwood underseat sub in the passenger side of my 208 gti and it adds a whole new dimension to the bass. The missus tells me to turn the bass full when we go out. Strange cos she tells me to turn the bass down in the house 🤔.

@@mazalex2556 I have phase set to 0. 360 is a sort of 3d effect. It's tiny for a 350w sub but kicks out some nice bass. Enjoy 😉.

@@Blayzinum thanks bud, its a nice little woofer. For me it sounds better on phase set to 180. Idk why but the bass feels different to when phase is off in a good way. I have a corsa e and replaced all the new speakers front and rear. I got the vibe slick 6 coaxial fronts and pioneers at the rear. They sound okay the speakers but I heard that everything needs to break in since they are new out the box so hopefully sound quality will increase the more I play it

As the rear speakers are mounted in a pod some wadding placed inside the pod would push the more bass sound into the cabin. Also some sound deadening in the front doors would have made the sound much better.

The Kenwood’s will definitely make a difference because the domes are probably made out of silk rather than paper (such as the OEM speakers) so you’ll get better displacement.

You should get a 4-channel amplifier that is rated for 100W rms @ 4 Ohm to utilize the entire performance of these speakers. I doubt that the head unit delivers more than 50W rms to those speakers, but most likely around 25W rms. So you could feed them 75W more than what you are delivering them now.

Get a Alpine SWE 815 subwoofer they really small form factor 10” and allow you still to a suitcase in the boot. The speaker and amp are matched and are kick ass without been over the top.

You need some 20mm spacers on the car mate I’ve done it to my F56 and the difference is mad - not too expensive either, some decent ones pack of 4 are like less than £100, not hard to install either.

Pretty sure you connected the speakers with wrong polarity. On the factory woofer the green wire (to the right is the positive. (on the factory woofer where the green wire was you can see a + on the woofer terminal. So you used the wire adapter (where the wires is crossed over so you get wrong polarity with the black and red wire going to the woofer. Meaning the woofer hits the wrong way during bass. And the coaxial speaker is not as good as a component setup. But the car is sold so I guess you dont care about this.
