People cant accept the fact that a scientifically accurate spinosaurus is still powerful and scary in its own right!the animal had numerous aquatic adaptations that made it a formidable threat,It hunted like a grizzly with the success and adaptations of a saltie,and it was one of largest bipedal animals ever!But still it had its limitations ofcourse,the animal wasnt a monster afterall

That’s not the problem. It’s just that it would break the continuity and we want that spinosaurus individual ,that character. That’s like replacing rexy with the bull it’s just not the same as we have grown to know the old character. I’m not saying an accurate spino wouldn’t be sick but it’s just not the same character. It’s the same reason why most people don’t care for tristars Godzilla even though the design was good.

@@petalwhispers first off do we know if the new movie even takes place in sorna? Can’t it take place on Nublar or the mainland? secondly couldn’t they just move the spino like they did the rexes in the series. This is completely possible as the spinosaurus had been moved to mantah corp island. This island eventually got discovered and the animals on it were moved by DPW which heavily insinuates also containing the spinosaurus (though we aren’t sure of it). And lastly it would make the most sense to bring that spino back as byosin is more than likely in ruins and defunct now. And as of now they were the only rival company making accurate (or any) dinosaurs. Plus with the spinosaurus being implied to have been contained it would make sense to bring it back. Also what’s the point of making an accurate spinosaurus in the series if the real life animals just gonna have an extremel change again. Plus the movies probably won’t give the animal justice and will make it either to generic of a villain or give it the giga treatment . I personally prefer the real animal due to how unique and bizarre it was, but at this point there is no point in adding it.

@@Skyypixelgamer they literally did move the spino, the individual in camp cretaceous IS the spino from sorna, it wouldn't be on nublar OR the mainland. I prefer the JP spino in the JP/JWverse more than accurate spino but we at least need a new spino individual since the island that the one from sorna is on is incredibly secret

Plus I haven't heard much of a spino roar but there r some vids abt it and it sounds absolutely terrifying, just search "accurate spino roar". Plus it's still a dinosaur, it's still a danger to humans, while not dangerous to let's say, the I.rex or T.rex, it's still gonna give the main characters a challenge and keep us on the edge of our seat

Secondly, he is more than an animal the Spinosaurus literally killed a T. rex, the same model used for Buck, successfully killing him alongside Buck and Doe. It's such a waste considering what he is capable of. Giving him an unworthy death is unfair, especially considering that other dinosaurs will evolve to be more fictional, spikey, and non-paleontologically accurate. However, the exact opposite is happening for Spino. I know it's a rumor, but it doesn't deserve to be dismissed as mere speculation. The water scenes sound promising.

Because it literally makes no sense. It's like having a current JP-styled T.rex, Raptor or Giga then all of a sudden there's this 2024 paleontologically accurate rendition just injected in between (I mean there's really nothing wrong with that, but it would grant a large retcon and franchise inconsistency which is what made the franchise worse thanks to Dominion) as the Prologue itself established that these dinosaurs looked like these from the beginning. In fairness though, the guy who did post these said leaks/rumors does have a track record of contradicting himself. So it's really best to wait for an official trailer because he is apparently the same dude who 'leaked' back in 2020-2021 that the Spino would reappear in Dominion and that Rexy would have soloed the Giga in the future(but we all know those didn't happen).
