That retracing bolide set is smart on Yanfei. I never thought of doing it, although I always run her with Zhongli. Is it better than using 4pc Crimson or 4 pc wanderers?

4 crimson and 4 wanderer are stronger than 4 Retracing Bolide if doing elemental reaction. 4 Retracing Bolide is perfect for mono pyro comp as it can set both normal attack and charge attack by 40%. but must always have a shield. (4 Retracing Bolide is too specific)

Now I have both of them, finally got c1 yanfei while pulling homa, but I don't have good artifacts and very good supports so even if she is triple crowned she's nowhere strong as yours :'). Its impressive how one detail of skills lvl 9 to lvl 10 matter. I have the same team, but 9 9 9. and i cant beat it without doing a heavy micromanagment on hu tao atck cancel. Choose the character you like. Now you have Xiao, one team, right? If I had to recommend Yanfei, it's not bad because you also have a 5 star weapon. It's up to you too whether you like to play.

I like both of them. Personally, I think Hu Tao and Yanfei The gameplay is pretty much the same. Just that Hu Tao deals more damage at the same time and same stats, and can nuke easily. (I think the pyro damage character is a lot. If you build Xiangling she is even stronger than Hu Tao in the case of multiple targets) Usually, 2 pyro DPS in Abyss is rarely used. Choose the character you like to play and the style of gameplay that suits you. be the best with you

I had the same thoughts. My Yanfei is pretty high invested and she is carrying me on abyss for a while now. I can deal with the cryo and hydro hypothasis on the abyss in less than a minute with my Yanfei. I was fortunate enough to get her C6 right on Zhongli banner. I see so many f2p Hu Taos not doing as much damage as my Yanfei (C6 with R2 Solar Pearl). I basically wanted Hu Tao because (as my pfp shows lmao) she is one of my favorite characters in terms of personality and design, but other than that I dont see many more reasons gameplay wise

Can someone please help me make a decision? I have already built my Yanfei and she's currently on every team combo I have. But I keep rethinking on whether I am going to pull for Hu Tao or not. I have saved 83 wishes though I don't have her guaranteed. I also have some good artifacts for her. But there are other characters I want more than her(Zhongli, Yae Miko, Kokomi or Yoimia).

Out of the characters you mentioned, yae miko is the only banner thats close by If you dont like hutao dont pull. Save for characters you do like But if you like her, you should still have enough time to save for miko

I recommend that you play on the vaporize team. But if you want to play pure pyro team like in this video. I also recommend Yanfei/Sucrose 4vv and TTDS/Bennett 4nb/Xiangling (if you want more team damage) /Thoma (if you want a shield)

I can't testify it bc I don't have dodoco tales but it is better option than mappa mare on yanfei, she can utilize it well according to other yanfei mains. widsith with high refinements is a good weapon for dps catalysts

I think Thoma can replace Zhongli. (as for the shield) and his C6 increases his normal attack and charged attack by 15%. If you want, damage equal to this video or more. Xiangling was able to do so. at C1 -15% pyro res at C6 she gives 15% Pyro DMG Bonus for the team.

HP sands, Pyro goblet, crit rate/Dmg hat. Most important substats for Hu Tao are Crit rate, crit Dmg, HP%, and EM.
