I loved the look of the green pillows in the chairs at each end of the dining table - I’ve never thought of using pillows on dining chairs like that! I also liked them on the sofa; it was so harmonious with the dark coffee table and the moss in the bowl. That said, we are the ones living in our own houses, and we should always create decor that makes us feel good 24/7; glad you go with your gut! 🥰

It's amazing how George and Tyger sleep right through all the decorating. They're just used to it, I guess. Lol. Have you noticed how refreshing it feels just knowing Spring and warmer weather is on the way? I'm not looking forward to 100 degrees temps and the humidity, but for a short time, just nice weather. I just love how you make faux flowers look fresh. It really changes the vibe of each room. And of course the simplicity of just using one type of flower vs a multi flower bouquet. I need to learn the "weeping" way. I've tried to do that with tulips, but it just always looks better elsewhere than when I do it.

My husband feels the same about clutter as you feel with color. Im a clutterbug and often wonder what this does for my kids as far as it being negative. Do you ever think it will make your kids crave the opposite? Mum was very minimal, too although i love how your house looks, but i unfortunately would have it cluttered in a minute.
