I love seeing how you bring new life to older pieces to make them feel fresh for each season. So many people get caught up with thinking they have to buy a lot of new things for the new season instead of sanding, painting, cloth dying etc. It’s really nice seeing someone just use what they have 😊

Completely agree! We already have most of what is needed, maybe the odd thing or some paint etc to help create a cohesive design, I don’t see the need for this pressure to keep on buying new😊🤗

You make all of this work seem to be so easy. We often forget that you have spent years curating your style. So, for all that is young and in a hurry, you must understand patiance is a virtue. Each year, you will acquire bits and pieces as Tracey has been so gracious to share her journey with us all to enjoy and aspire to. As she demonstrates her techniques, paint it this color this year and the next a whole new surprise. It is amazing how a little bit of paint and time can transform an idea. Oh Tracey! Nothing screams spring to me like tumbling terra cotta pots! And that moss green ribbon is icing on the cake! When you said your husband cleaned off the moss, I had to laugh as it reminded me of my Dad. He is gone now.. but every time he came to visit.. I would come home from work and he had hacked back all my gorgeous climbing ivy surrounding my walled garden!!!! I could just kill him!!!! I use to have to hide all the garden tools when I knew he was coming. How one man could purge years of charm in an afternoon is beyond me. Love the ivory textures of the sofa throw and cushions. And the green pillows are the perfect ode to spring. And I am Team Bertie!!! Bring back my sheepskin rug to the snug!!! I got you Bertie!

Gorgeous ideas! And thanks for sharing your sheds and decor organization - I was among the ones who asked, so very much pleased :) As for tape, I'd recommend IKEA curtain tape, I use it on curtains, clothing - pretty much any material gos and sticks in place. I will repeat your green stand idea with my marble one! For eggs I would use the real eggs' shell - a diy that we were taught in school to empty the egg inside, boil the shell a bit in a salty water and then paint it. thanks so much for sharing!!!

You can get fabric glue that is strong and washable if you can’t sew too. I went to light a candle and the match broke and flicked onto my quilt which burnt a hole in it. My favourite quilt of course. So I used a square I cut from inside the pillow slip and it glued wonderful. Btw I think Bertie gets under the table to guard his finds.🦌🦌
