Wow looking good. Where did you get these frags? They are good size and great color. I am jealous of your coraline!! Also the first fragrance you didnt know the name of looks like a PC Rainbow
@TheBioReef7 ай бұрын
thanks Mike! yeah several have commented about the unknown orange acro to be PC rainbow, which matches with my records of what i gave my neighbour and what i got back from him. I get my corals from several places in Canada. Adam from Frag Garage is super. Locally, i also get corals from another SPS keeper name Chi!

One mystery coral may be the PC Rainbow since I did get one, so maybe the one mystery SPS is solved.

Awesome - i have been following you for years - i now work for Reef Builders and will actually be writng an article shouting out your channel - back in the day you made the video about using "science to color up your coral" which helped to inspire all of my content and angle at reefing - congrats on 9k - well deserved!

Yeah that makes sense. I had given my neighbor a frag of pc rainbow from the reefer 250 and I got one back from him after I lost everything from my first Dino battle in the 180… damn… pc rainbow is hot!

@@TheBioReef yes, really nice piece. Grows fast too. Looks better in like medium PAR 250-300. Once you get up to 400 it turns bright red.
@TheBioReef7 ай бұрын
i think its 300-350 now... should stay there as i didn't want to push par much higher than i have now with the 3 xr15 and 2 xr30s @ 50% now

OMG! All my favorites and more. You know I have a soft spot for SSC's & Fox Flames. When these SPS grow out the color mix will be beyond stunning. Looking forward to future updates and things bloom. Please stay at home. No leaving on long trips. Sleep next to the tank.

I was gonna ask what the black anampses was - wow super rare I think that they change to males and the males are VERY rare. Yeah this is far from terminal - it's in transition and should get a new pattern and even the one I have seen on liveaquaria (Jake Adams does a tour with Kevin Cohen and he had one in his office) - that was just male - not terminal as the colors change again. Crazy stuff. My guess on the wrasse is a leopard... maybe a Choati - hopefully whatever it is gets through

Vivids Confetti is probably my favorite (non-smoothy acro) - and you have a few smoothies - that northern lights will be sick. I'd get some stags at the back (coming up) - a Bleeding Tree for sure (tho these take ages to grow) and a blue stag (or a horrida with those white polyps) Love the collection - that dark blue is stunning

Wow the tank recovered super well😍! How did you get Abe's corals into Ontario?
@TheBioReef6 ай бұрын
Thanks! I got the cherry pop frag from Adam’s frag garage in BC. He ships really well and his corals are Awesome. I did first see cherry pop in one of Abe’s vids and I met up with him and saw his tank in person recently when i was in San Diego for a work thing. That made me appreciate the colony so much more. But sadly, can’t take anything back acropora from our friends /LFS stores in the US without cites permits I Believe
