Thank you Spyderco for those 6 words said at 15:20, "we're trying to reduce the cost". Every single knife manufacturer out there *(Benchmade)* needs to take that advice and reduce cost. Spyderco is introducing some quality new knives, and unlike the other brands, isn't charging 5, 6, 7 hundred dollars because they threw in some titanium. Good job Spyderco, I'll definitely be picking up a few of these knives

I'm really happy they're taking models such as the chaparral, subhilt, and rubicon and making them cheaper and/or smaller. Their designs are great, so the fact that they're just improving and changing those models is great. Didn't see Eric talk about the pm3 though.

I love what they added to the ring of the karambit, cause didn't like the original versions cause the ring was flimsy and will tend to "flare" out. Nice simple fix for people who like to used that ring for non-lethal "knuckle dusting" situations

It's very corrosion resistant with nitrogen added and it hold a better plain edge than H-1. From this Spyderco Forum: LC 200 N was probably the first Nitrogen steel made. I first heard about it about 15 years ago when NASA was looking at it. It went by the name of Cronidur 30. It was difficult to get. We've been looking for salt water friendly blade materials for many years. We've tried many steels and ceramics looking for that great salt water material. Being a sailor and a diver, I felt the need. When H1 became available, we felt that the technology was starting to get there. When Zapp made it available under the LC name, they showed it to us.
