Very street legal! I owned one of these for three years before my transplant. Has airbag rear suspension that makes the ride real smooth. This is NOT a car! You need either a motorcycle endorsement OR in those states with the M3 for trikes. It is NOT for wussies as some claim. This trike hauls ASS! Has an acceleration that pins you back against the seat. Great for those of us who can no longer ride 2 wheels. And, as for the air conditioner? On a nice hot day of 100, I turned the A/C on full. Not only did it freeze my nuts off, the air goes right up your riding jacket and keeps you cool as ice! There are two vents for the passenger and she kept telling me to turn the A/C off, too cold! Great ride!!

for those wondering about the air conditioner in this pen trike. I've had over a dozen of TR-6 Triumph convertables, english sports cars, as well as MGB, etc. and one of the first things I always did was install a small mazda a/c to it. I was living in Puerto Rico at the time and you just melt inside the car. So 90% of the time I had my top down, with the cold air refreshing my whole body. The same goes for the trike, the wind won't interfere with your sense of pleasure with the cold air. You get use to it as it is, and in fact in non convertible cars I had in the past I run the a/c with the windows open a lot of times. It's an acquired taste :).

I love trikes to! But this is more of a "roadster" type trike.. still i love it! And am looking into getting one... as for affordable trikes/roadsters check out gy6s like the ztr it even looks like a slingshot but smaller they only around 3,000 usd $$ for a 300cc will need to put another $500 or so into it to make it safer amd better though.. than there is icebear!! I love icebears have a few 50s built out to 100cc they are tiny town beaters so fun and cheap!! The 49cc new are 1800 shipped to your door the 150s about 2200 the 300s are around 5k

I saw one today for the first time so I had to look it up here. I think this thing could have been so good and sold very well but it didn't. It's ugly as heck. Lol. It has a great power plant and options. Just a great vehicle, except for it's appearance and that alone is what I've read so far that just killed this trike. The rear isn't too bad but the front is absolutely hideous. If love to redesign that front end and have a really cool unique bike.

I've been a Harley rider my whole life. Now at almost 65 and after an accident (not a bike accident) I can''t handle a handlebar anymore. I agree, it's ugly but it would be one I could ride, or would this be drive? LOL When I saw one years ago I ridiculed them too, but now... it seems the only one that could work for me. Would rather have a Harley engine then Ford though ;)
