No chance, unaffordable. Still would prefer Earls Court Exhibition Centre, 3 underground stations nearby. With that one the site has been purchased for housing. Have to settle for a 50,000 revamped ground. The atmosphere is and has always been poor.

One of the few things we've been told is that it is a 4 window plan, this summer being the 4th - the 1st summer wasn't part of the 4. So I'm waiting to see where we are with players come end of the summer window - All of which may be irrelevant if we still have nigh on half the squad out injured. If we've also resolved our mass injury issues, by Christmas we should be able to formulate an educated opinion on the progress of this process/project.

You're getting way ahead of yourself. The purchase of the Stoll land does not automatically mean redevelopment of the Bridge. For a start, the land will not be turned over until 2027 at the earliest, as Stoll have to successfully rehouse all the retired veterans. Then, they have to have architects come up with a design, the club have to submit a new planning application and go through the lengthy process of getting it approved. After all that, there will be at least 3 years to demolish and rebuild the stadium. Realistically, you're looking at 2032/33 at the earliest before any rebuild is completely. Whilst I understand why Bates set up the Pitch Owners, they are a colossal pain in the ar*e. Plainly, a purspose built stadium on a more suitable site, would be a better idea, given the constrictions of the current site in Fulham Road. And before you say "You don't get the history" blah blah blah, I've been a Chelsea fan (and former season ticket holder, before moving abroad) for more than 50 years, but I am a REALIST.

I understand these stadium plans take time, i.e acquiring property near the Bridge and all that, but the lack of communication for the plans of the stadium revamp is really concerning as more time passes.

The stadium barely passes health and safety as it is. Redeveloping on the currect footprint requires completely reorientating the pitch, which means you need to buy adjacent land like the Stoll mansions. A stand by stand rebuild is how we ended up with the current stadium - it is maxed out.

I think the percentages of players and when they are available not lining up to 100% is likely because they are all adjusted for when the player signed. It would be unfair to have minutes count before the player was signed, so when it says Sanchez played 52% of the available minutes than that's counting from the day he signed for us (5th of August). Petrovic signed on the 26th of August so his 56% are counting from then on and not from the start of the season.

I read reports this real estate isn't much help for stadium development in the Grand scheme. I have a feeling it was just a real estate acquisition for their portfolio. Will have to keep and eye on it.

I think the Chelsea pitch owners have a agreement that the team can only play at Stamford Bridge and we can't move to another venue so redevelopment of the Bridge is the only way to go I would like it to be done stand by stand as it would cause less disruption we would still be getting a income from the other stands,if the stadium is going to be finished in 2027 I will be 52yrs old

There's no way the club genuinely this injury record is just bad luck. Look at how RLC and Pulisic's fortunes have totally turned since leaving. The mecical team needs the biggest rehaul immediately after the season's end. We've stolen so many backroom officials from other clubs, why don't we get some medicos from Italian clubs? Give them a blank cheque, spending loads on them might get 300 mil worth of players performing regularly, surely that's higher value for money than any footballer we can sign.

The pay as you go is for specific treatments for long term injuries, and all clubs in the world do that because it makes no sense to have, let's say, a ACL surgeon on payroll perpetually. Although Fofana and Nkunku both did their medicals in the US for some reason, and according to Fofana it was nothing like he ever experienced before. But we do need a general medical/physio team overhaul for improving the recovery and recurring injury patterns. And to reduce the injuries happening in training or low load scenarios. I've always wondered how Italian teams seem to have the best recovery times, recurring injury records and stuff. Just nab the physios and medics from one of the Milan clubs.

After winning just 8 of our first 21, none of us really expected the form to improve drastically and get a top 4 form did we. Our general form is still on the up and has been a linear rise, it's just people having a fanny wobble over individual results. We won one of our last 12 before Poch took over. The games we lost points to of course are awful, and should've won both. And I'm definitely not happy with the form still. But I think the general fanbase is overreacting given the form and squad morale Poch inherited and had in the first half of the season.

It doesn't mean the work on the stadium can't start before then, depends on what the plans are. The hotels can be taken down etc. If it's a stand by stand that can definitely start before 2027. We don't need to worry about the capacity safety problems until the last stand is being worked on which could be 2028 for example. We also still need to workaround stadium height, maybe dig down, due to the view from King Henry's Mound of St Paul's Cathedral is a protected view and it cannot be obscured.

Depends on what stage the planning is at, if its even started (as in architectural choices, designed etc). 3 years is a reasonable timeframe if what they have done is made the decision as to which route to take, but not yet started the process.

I don’t see paying 80 mil to “kick out” anyone as those veterans have the resources to relocate. Seems like a win-win. Personally I want a world class stadium but regardless of what they do it will take forever and be a complicated agreement buildout. I’m 53. I’d like to see this before I’m dead 😆 Also I want to point out we are in 9th place with a game in hand, reached Wembley twice this season, faired well against the top five ALL while behaving as a circus. Less I mention our women’s team are the “gold standard”. Am I thrilled with Poch? No. However I believe he has been a more impactful figure in the dugout than Potter if we look at more than win percentage. This said if he finishes 8th or higher this season he should get a chance for another season to sort out our defense through recovered injuries and his new signings. If we land in double digits with more gutted results then I say ditch the TOT. That’s how I say it. The owners are on the better path compared to last year.
