New Stamps, Now What? Stamping simple florals!

This is a longer format video, so grab a cuppa something cozy, and let's settle in. Also, I have a little note at the start of the video saying "I don't know what the gray bar is" but I found out what it is! It's the swipe control on my new iPhone 11 and apparently, when filming live, there is no way to get around it. Mama might have to invest in a new video camera after all! Hope it's not too distracting!

This card is so pretty. As you said about not minding that the color stamp wasn't perfectly covering each flower, I think you could even purposefully go out of the lines a bit more. And I totally agreed that the shorter sentiment was the way to go. When you put the longer one on there I shook my head and said "no, that doesn't look right" and then you echoed my thought. Even using several different elements you've kept it clean and neat-looking. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

This is so pretty, and you are absolutely right that simply following the rainbow produces great results. Loving your recent trend of decorating the envelopes. So simple, yet I don't always think to do it---maybe because I sort my cards into baskets and keep the envelopes in their sleeves until I am ready to mail a card. Thanks for the inspiration!

wasn't gonna watch this video as florals aren't my 'thang' but so glad I did - love it and love how you were so thrilled after you die cut it out with scalloped edges (also not my thing) so bottom line, I might like to try it. I have some floral stamps will fill portions. You've inspired me. And hey, sometimes if you move your magnet, it make your misty stamp better in center portions. I have a feeling that was the issue.

Hi Cathy, love how you explain everything so well. The supposed useful tray for putting powder back in the bottle - the powder stuck like a magnet. Concept was good, not sure if anyone actually tested it to make sure it worked, lol.

Love this and the tone on tone image on the envelope. I think the reason you were having trouble getting a good image on the envelope was that the magnet on the stamping platform was in the way and affecting how the stamp was meeting the paper.

Lovely card. When you cut it out with the scallop die I immediately thought of a postage stamp. 💖 I love the tip on trimming down the sentiment on your guillotine cutter. That’s very helpful. I try to eyeball mine but now I’m using your tip!
