Honestly they need to nerf some of the mobs for standard mode. Especially krok. There's also a glitch where sometimes the dragon token when each code is inputted correctly sometimes respawns the dragon when you activate the pump and when you try to kill him again it will just say token required resulting in having to fully reset the dungeon (even on standard). They need to make the mobs more standard friendly because the cheats that some have like krok, the only way to counter them is with pvp only spells which cannot be used in standard. I bet if they fix the dungeon to be easier, then people will wanna do it rather than do challenge. the reason I'm doing it 25 times on standard is for the recipe to be unlocked alone and nothing else. I will say you definitely need a good team to do standard right. so far i have 4/25 by just doing standard plus buying the chest so i can either get everything early so i can not do this anymore or doing the 25 runs.

Did my one run of standard and 90% of the time was maze wandering and getting hit by laggy broken dreams. Fights were super easy and kinda fun but I barely did them. And 25 times to craft gear that is like 2 dmg better is a bit of a miss. I was looking forward to this but decided to cancel my membership because I don’t see myself wanting to grind. I do think if they just fixed a few things it would be friendly to casuals (broken dreams removed + can collect multiple dreamwater). Maze is fun but Wiz for many reasons is not a game made for real time obstacles

they just need to change badge from 25 runs to 15 or 10. 25 is too high

So it's just tedious and not necessarily hard but not the better option just cause they chose to make the drop rate garbage. I mean all they could have done was keep the gear drop rate the same but lower the reagent drop rate since you can get reagents anywhere else.

The dungeon is pretty awful. Very difficult to go through with randoms. The broken dreams are irritating and frustrating, causing team members to get lost, end up at random bosses, and not know where to go or what to do. Most people just leave in the middle of it.

cant wait for unicorn way challenge mode: 650 health ghosts, 9500 hp pirates, 13500 hp dark sprites, and 23500 hp dark queen or w.e that boss in the field was, and we have to get lady oriel from that end of the map to the beginning after pushing through, advanced combat btw haha.. ok im just typing random ideas down.

The question is do you need to get the badge on every wizard to craft each schools gear?

nope! i can craft the gear for my death wizard on my storm and then transfer it over :)

Well that's positive but honestly I can't see myself doing it 25 times, probably once per all 12 of my Wizards. @@cheervalx

Lol the community really thought standard mode would be better. Nope! Worst drop rates and less efficient and tougher boss fights lmaooo. I’m right there with you Val in that challenge mode is definitely easier than standard modes mess and that if people really want the gear then they’re essentially forced to do challenge whether they like it or not cause I wouldn’t want to do standard mode 25 times the way it currently is.

Um valx there may be no gambit spells in standard but did you forget about normal scion spells and shadows spells they're better than gambit spells in terms of raw hits

true! but you do need more buffs vs a gambit, and it’s easier for the mobs to kill you during that time. on malus for example we got raging bulled for 6k and i was dead, because the fight had like 7 extra turns compared to challenge! plus if you are feint stacking you tend to die more LOL

Honestly considering that having a group that is always on to attempt challenge mode and to learn it with a mostly PvE player base is probably a little bit of a big ask. Not everyone can play at the same time, and the PvP gambits might turn people off of the grind unless they were explained a bit better. (not to mention its hard to explain to new friends ingame without a discord) So for most people sadly Standard mode team up is probably their best bet, and its unfortunate to know that the drop rates were lowered a ton as well on top of having to do this 25 times (going through a huge maze dungeon) compared to the 10-15 times for the other bosses (where you walk in and beat them up) Great video explaining it otherwise! keep it up!

Unfortunately without new developers who know what they're doing this game will continue to go no where. I've been saying this for 3 years now at least.
