I am blowed by these!!! WOW!!! Yamaha, more standards, please! There is really improved many little-big things. Here is 4 AM, and I am listening your presentation and just can't stop! :D I just ordered some complex organs voices packs for my Genos 2. I will wait for it to install them together with all expansion packs and with this new Standard Pack, which is absolutely wonderful! Thanks for all your work and shares with us!

These are just styles, so no need for expansion installer.

Hi Leigh, yes slowly getting to know the G-1 but boy what a big step up from my Sx700. I’m playing some Christmas songs at the moment. There are some great Christmas styles I’ve been investigating.

I can't find the pack either. I'm logged into my account on the page headed 'Voice&Styles Expansion Packs for Genos2' where 10 packs are listed which I already have. I'm wondering the absence of this 'New Standard Style Pack' is because my account is on the UK website. Do you know if that could be the problem for many of us Leigh? Superb styles by the way, and awesome demonstration of them, thank you.

I think that our brains play tricks on us sometimes as we look back at old style and remembers them as the cat's meow. I on the other hand hear a new style or tone and immediately know the difference and fall in deep love with Genos 2. I've been playing my Genos 2 and just love the value of what Yamaha puts out. There is so much GREAT NEW TONES AND STYLES. Great video! Love the songs you create on the fly. Thank you!

Hi Leigh, I hope you’re well! It’s a nice usable Christmas present from Yamaha, all we need now is an SX920 pack and a software update to sort the sliders out, then they’ve improved on perfection.

Hey Leigh your head is filled with so many wonderful tidbits of music. I am looking at your setup. You keep these styles and voices on the USB stick and use it from there am I correct. It seems if you download the free packs to the expansion section, they don't stay in there because the minute you try to add one if you don't save it to a USB stick then the previous packs are replaced with the new ones. AM I RIGHT?

These styles sound great and well played as usual. Like many others though...Im struggling to find them...actually given up now after an hour of googling and browsing Yamaha site. Yamaha produce such a great instrument(s) but when it comes to updates/downloads etc, they really do make things difficult and puts me off updating things like firmware, content packs etc.

Are you using your HS8's on this or have you purchased a subwoofer Leigh. They sound really great. I would like to hear those strings lower than the high treble, they may sound much better.

Hi Leigh, I’m thinking of upgrading from my Genos 1 to Genos 2. I have collected about 200 user styles and created about 200 sets of new registrations. What is the best way to transfer all the data onto the new Genos 2 and would it best to use a computer?

@@peterstunt1 there’s a guide with the Genos that shows you how to do that. When you get the 2 follow the included guide or ask your dealer to do it for you.

@@bindatek8801 you need to log into your Yamaha music Europe account and it’s in your downloads area. I found the whole way of downloading it ridiculous. Yamaha seem to be their own worse enemy - they marketing is a bloody mess. Great styles but hell to download.

The styles are great and the OTSs not bad. However, the registrations are absolute pants. As i’ve posted elsewhere - What idiot thought up Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep and That’s Livin’ Alright and turned them into almost ballad/country and western? As regards a link to the ZIP file, yo9u have to log into the account you set up when you registered Genos2 to get the extra warranty. It’s tucked in there.
