New Star Tours Scenes with The Mandalorian, Grogu, Cassian Andor and Ahsoka Tano

Star Tours at Disney's Hollywood Studios rolled out some new scenes today, including a scene with The Mandalorian and everyone's favorite "Baby Yoda", Grogu, as well as Ahsoka Tano and Cassian Andor. See Ahsoka leave the hangar in her T-6, a message from Mando and Grogu, fight amongst the Purrgil, and a message from Cassian Andor.

It's nice to have some of the popular live action Star Wars content characters in the ride. Glad they managed to get Rosario Dawson and Diego Luna for this but I'm hearing that Mando is not voiced by Pedro Pascal and it's almost noticable for me.

They were probably able to get rosario and diego probably because they were filming their shows at the time these were recorded.

No. I'm assuming the other actors were filmed as it seems that Disney places filming scenes for new attractions into most of their contracts, on the condition that it's filmed in conjunction with another project already in development. As Mando season 3's schedule didn't line up and Pedro has quickly become a very in-demand actor, it seems they didn't have the budget to include him.

@@12stack73 no it was clearly a popular show, Ahsoka and mando have been pushed the most, they've added Sabine to the parks, they've given Ahsoka her own star tour ride, she's getting a season 2, Hasbro has made plenty of Ahsoka series toys and recently came out with a high quality Black Series Force FX Elite saber for Sabine, and they have Sabine and Ahsoka's lightsabers at walmart with tons of Ahsoka toys from rebels, clone wars, and the ahsoka series

Baseline Star Tours 2.0 was always intended as pre-ANH. If anything, he's the only character that fits within this new batch of updates.

Star Tours TAC takes place after the prequels so Andor would still be alive before Episode 4. But yeah considering the fact that we visit Jakku, Crait and Exegol when the sequel trilogy was running yeah somehow time travel is involved here. You basically need to turn your head to George Lucas for this.

One of the complaints about Galaxy's Edge is that they set it strictly in the sequel timeline rather than just ignoring timelines and putting in whatever was fun. I'm glad to see that Disney isn't so concerned about timelines in Star Tours, because I like Andor, Ahsoka, and Mando.

@@dharmajanitorexactly I had a friend who was so offended by the fact that each ride wasn’t in the same timeline. Just have fun with it. It’s my favorite ride and the best Star Wars ride next to Rise.
