Im sorry but Aspyr has not had a ok track record with ports. Even if you ignore Battlefront Classic Collection its pretty bad. Kotor the hud was gigantic and distracting and had to be fixed. Kotor 2 had game progress breaking bugs plus the whole restored content fiasco. Republic Commando on Switch had an unacceptable framerate and resolution. Episode 1 Racer came out with low res hud. Jedi Outcast they removed the local multiplayer entirely. Its not Star Wars but Tomb Raider, even though it was a good had a mountain of issues that needed patched. I know I am ranting but I just can't see how anyone can defend Aspyr's shoddy job at Star Wars ports. As for Bounty Hunter if I do buy it, its going to be a wait and see how it turns out. I don't trust Aspyr to deliver a quality product due to their track record with Star Wars.

I can agree there's some balancing changes needed, but I'd like the game to be at least accurate to the type of challenge it originally had. Finishing some of the tougher levels is rewarding, which will only be quadrupled thanks to the inclusion of the Boba Fett skin as a reward. Many games nowadays have become very reliant on not presenting any form of challenge unless you're FromSoft so it be nice for this game to retain it's challenge

I played this game a lot when it came out. I didn't find lt difficult. Usually I would die a couple of times towards the end when the levels got slightly difficult. But can't wait to be able to hear Longo 2 Guns say " YOU BOUNTY HUNTERS JUST KEEP ON COMING"

Bounty Hunter gives me so much nostalgia. It made Jango Fett such a cooler character for me, now I watch AotC and feel sad for my guy This game was hard as hell though! Here's to Aspyr not messing this up 🤞

If I was aspyr I would make the bounty hunter free for people who bought star wars classic collection as an apology. Its not like im cheap lol, but they should make my money I gave them worth something

Even if its a bad port, I'm happy its coming to pc. Hoping the rest of the console-only games also get ported eventually.

I get what you mean cause who doesn't want an old game readily available, but if the Silent Hill HD collection or BFC is anything to go by: Having nothing better at all is a better option because seeing classics get butchered because of a combination of incompetence and tough deadlines is absolutely detrimental to the game's legacy. I'm hoping this game's re-release isn't rushed. It's a sentimental game for me since it was one of my earliest experiences with the star wars IP: Without this game, my introduction to SW would have been very different, so I hope Aspyr can do it justice.

It's says on the steam page that the devs recommend playing on controller. From my experience, that might mean controller only

Theoretically this game should be easier to update compared to the classic collection as its a singleplayer exclusive game. All aspyr has to do is update the graphics slightly and change the controls. The focus would be on the bugs and glitches so they need to make sure that there isn't a major problem in the game that would distract the player. Understandable that after what happened with the classic collection, people are skeptic about it but at least its 15 of your currency (£$€). Is it worth that much? Comment what you think Imo if its done correctly, then it is, but if its broken, then that would look like it should've been cheaper.

Honestly I can deal with shoot being on square, but I’m hoping they fixed the camera. This was one of the first games I remember playing on GameCube as a kid and while it’s great, that was a big problem with it. Given Aspyr also made the Tomb Raider collection, I do think there’s a chance they might fix it though since those games also now had a freely controllable camera (though it still had some issues just do to how the games work). Bounty Hunter controls kinda similar to those so hopefully it’ll carry over. Also hoping the game will be better than the Battlefront collection or the KOTOR ports, but time will tell there.
