I love the Bad Batch, but I am more excited for the regular Clone Commandos because I like making my own lore for my units. Also, as someone who mainly plays Skirmish, the Associate is really good because you are only allowed 1 Operative in Skirmish.

Elaborate on this lore for each of your units that sounds interesting like it gave me the idea of like taking some note cards and righting a story for the units lore on it and display the unit in a glass box that sounds dope!

@@badger_actual8249 Yeah. My main army is CIS, but I wanted to have a story reason for them fighting any other faction, including another CIS army. So, my army is lead by a rogue Super Tactical Droid named Cyclops who has gone mad, developing an obsession with collect Sith artifacts to conquer all organic life in the galaxy.

Just a thought on the Ram keyword change. It does say "weapon with a Ram keyword" so I think it's only limited to that particular melee attack, not the thrown spinning lightsaber attack.

The change to Independent is an interesting one for a couple of current units. Swoop Bikes and Empire Boba to name a couple. With them having Independent: Aim 1 or Dodge 1, it means you could make that token acquisition more suited to the situation they are in at that moment.

It may make more sense to have things like "Advanced targeting Core", since that would be referred to as a unit type Would be cool to have assassins with "advanced targeting: commander", too

Andor has honestly been so amazing. I gotta give Diego Luna so much credit. It's such an awesome character and hero. Best scene was the prison break! I was shouting I was cheering I wanted to go to my neighbors house and punch him how excited I was and I am not a violent man. Lol but it was so amazing to spend that much time in the prison to see him grow into a shadow hero

Well the "we're not regs" keyword is a serious bummer. Will probably make Bad Batch unplayable in the competitive scene since the main strength and play style of republic is token synergy and sharing. Having a probably 150-200 point unit that cant do the main thing your army does seems like a bad idea.

@Crabbok anakin shares tokens, Yoda shares tokens with his three pip, which he can use multiple times and is a great defensive-support piece. Obi wan (who can't really share tokens at all) is the least played republic jedi. He's the least played for a reason he has the least synergy with the theme of the republic. Not to mention Jedi get into melee combat and tear stuff apart while being practically indestructible since you can't shoot at stuff in melee. The bad batch are a multi model shooty unit, so it'll be harder to hide them behind LOS blocking cover so they'll take shots and start to lose value as models die. Unless the bad batch have some other hidden features, I don't think they'll be that good. Bad batch at best will suffer from the same problem mandos suffer from. Great at first, but lose a lot of value quickly with one bad defense roll.

I’m hoping complete the mission is a clone commando keyword, and the bad batch keyword is ok. But I really hope their weapons are good on their own or not being able to get fire supported will hurt them overall.

Separate from mixed faction games, if the Bad Batch are in rebels then Mark II troopers won't be able to fire support them which feels weird

I guess I have a different opinion about we’re not regs, I think it’s great because of the theme. I also don’t think more exemplar would be good for republic. I do wish they named it something other than complete the mission though

"Weighed Down" was a totally negative keyword that we saw very recently. I can't wait for the Bad Batch! I know "We're not Regs" kinda sucks for GAR players, but wouldn't affect Rebel players. I'm very interested to see if/how they'll get balanced across factions.

Independent retool might make Remnant viable. Imagine Darks and Deaths with an extra free move.

There is a tax on giving saber throw to get the Ram 2. One it’s a bit of a waste since he already throws for free. Two he only has 1 force slot.

I'm genuinely hoping that clone commandos are operatives. The clone list needs something else to go in that spot other than Padme. But they'll likely be Special forces. My ideal look for the card would be something like a tougher Inferno Squad, where the card has the commander (Boss), and then you have the option to pick 3 heavy weapon troopers (Scorch, Fixer, Sev) to fill out the squad, each with their own weapon. No matter what, if they're even close to lore-accurate they're going to be incredibly expensive. Likely red surge for defense with impervious, possibly even a shield like in the game. Infiltrate as well, Marksman, and reliable. I'm going to guess that they'll be over 100 points for a full squad.

If they’re operative you could only run two of them 🥺, but makes sense for Bad Batch and maybe Delta Squad to be operative and regular CC’s to be special forces

I am expecting the Bad Batch to have Independent: Aim or Dodge, with the changes to Independent being so they can benefit from "Take That Clankers" more easily.

The update to Take That Clankers would still require them to take the Aim Action, so a free token wouldn't help them a whole lot.

Amg realeasing inquisitors for empire: lot of dmg rush good defense god command cards, broken 66% upgrade of not letting force user to use a force upgrade oh you can put both inquisitor plus another bounty cause why not that will be very nice for them 😎 Bad batch: you cant use green tokens of other clones, you cant fire support the bad batch, that would be too broken. 🤨🤨🤨🤨 Oh you want native surge well you have to be inside this r1 to have surge to defense when if you are not well you do not have acces to surge by the other clones. Fuck i hate AMG.
