Star Wars Outlaws has been one of the funnest games I've ever played. I have around 180 hours invested in it and still have plenty of treasures to find and two more trophies to get for the platinum. Really hoping for a ng+!!

Yes, it is definitely the right way. I started again from the beginning and the stealth missions are much more enjoyable now. It would be great if they could get rid of the flickering water (fsr quality) on the ps5. Tearing is fixed. I think the patches are pretty good and the game is more fun now.

Anyone not playing this game because of other peoples hate, is totally missing out. Any gamer that even remotely likes Tomb Raider, Red Dead Redemption 2, or Drakes Fortune, would love this game, as it has the beast features of all three combined, with a Star Wars Theme on top.

​@@grekenadde it's not a bad game as much as people say. I got the game for free so decided to try it. It's shares a lot of aspects with other games but how they are executed isn't really special or groundbreaking. That aspect doesn't really mean it's a bad game, it's just nothing new or special. It comes off like a super open world like RDR2, HOWEVER, for me the game just feels like a linear game with open areas because there are really beautiful areas within the game, but they are only accessible through missions, it reminds me of Last Survivor but it has a free roam map. You can't travel back and explore some of these locations within the free roam part of the game, my biggest example of that is there is a mission where you are exploring a downed destroyer(sorry forgot the actual class of the ship) and the environment is really really good and it's massive, but you can't just go back and check that area out in a free roam session. My biggest disappointment with the game is the combat, stealth and the AI, because stealth seems heavily pushed but there is little to no freedom with the mechanic and the AI is really not complimentary in that aspect as well, especially compared to other stealth leaning games coming from the same company. Combat definitely needs to be rebalanced, the blaster makes majority of enemies bullet sponges which makes me lean back into stealth because the take downs are one hit for the most part and it's easier not to just get swarmed, so the freedom of playing differently is watered down because stealth seems to be the best option majority of the time. The atmosphere when you are in towns or around faction populations are the best thing about this game, it FEELS like Star Wars. My critique with that aspect are personal and nothing I would hold as a negative to what they actually did. They nailed the atmosphere. I would recommend the game to Star Wars fans that want an openish world, but ONLY at a heavy discount. The game is not as bad as people say but it's also not as good as people are saying as well, if that makes sense.

@A7ZATRU That's wierd. As a strait male i always pick the female if given the option. Fallout, femShep for mass effect, ect. My thinking is if I have to stair at my characters backside the whole game, might as well be a shapely one , 😆

I’m loving the game, having a blast playing as Kay in the worlds of Star Wars. And Nix is the best companion. I also appreciate the patches and updates. Gonna be going back to this game again and again.

Wasn’t able to play the game yesterday so when I heard that the update had apparently wreaked the game on PS5 I was worried. Didn’t notice that my Ps5 automatically downloaded the patch this morning so I was kinda confused when my game was 100% fine lol.

I don't know what it is today, this mentality of simply hating every game Ubisoft develops. I had a BLAST playing the game on Series X and i will have a great amount of fun playing it all over again on my PS5 Pro when it arrives. At this point prior to launch a few informations on the Pro upgrades would be nice, Ubisoft! Anyway, thanks for the video.

Ubisoft didn't develop the game, Massive Entertainment did, but Ubisoft are the ones that put the greedy pricing and cut DLC on the season pass. the hatred is for the greedy publishers.

Have they fixed the Nix treasure trader on Mirogana yet? Selecting the purchase menu caused the game to soft-lock along with a blank purchase menu. I stopped playing after that because I want to enjoy the game if/when it’s fully operational.

Devs neeed to go down the hall or find the Ghost Recon Breakpoint devs and borrow the co-op stuff ! This game would "Be Fire" if I could share the fun with some co-op missions like I did in that game ! Having a Blast with it so far ! Ps5 issues were not game-breaking & will check for the update when I get home !

I beat Lando’s sabasc game only to have ND-5 tell me I haven’t beat him. Annoying that is. However, I’m 69 hours in and I’m close to completion I think.

Thanks for the update. Working in IT for a software publisher and developper (not gaming), this whole "there's a bug report platform for you, the customer, to use" irritates me to no end. Publishers' internal departments or external companies are supposed to test the blasted software *before* release, not the end user. Ubisoft want me to do their QA testing? Sure. Offer me a full time contract and pay me. I do enough unplanned software testing and bug reporting during the week days. 😝 I wasn't really affected by the screen tearing issue as I use quality mode, and yes, the hot fix came quickly. But that issue should have been caught immediately before release. The controller sound is more excusable, it's not like it's used very often in the game, but still... Kind of curious about that DLC, though I suspect you need to unlock Lando before playing? I'm not exactly super fond of Sabacc TBH. I'll get around to it eventually.

The game has a lot of issues and a lot of questionable choices that limit the gameplay and really make no sense in the game itself. All could have be solved with more development time and some voices in the room pushing hack on dumb decisions. That said, I really enjoyed the game and am looking forward to move content for is as I have basically done everything. It's just a shame as it could have been legendary, but instead is just average. So looking forward to Hondo. Please give him a major role.

Im really loving this game so far... Lots of fun and really addictive.. i found Kay quite likeable after a while... the majority of the hate is, as always , coming from people who haven't even played it, but just enjoy jumping on the reviews, however, i do agree the release day pricing was too expensive.. but bashing the game content itself isnt right.. plus any self-respecting gamer doesn't believe Woke Kotaku or IGN.. imo, its a great game, and its worth picking it up

@@Scorpion-bp3ec I played this game 3 days before release, and it was a complete game. "Why are there patches then?" They're listening to player feedback and improving the game. They don't have to do this. They could just pretend it's 20 years ago when games were released and that was it. Literally every game in the PS3 era and earlier had bugs that were never fixed and mechanics that weren't perfect, but we didn't call them "incomplete" back then because we weren't spoiled brats. We should be thanking them for taking the time to listen and improve the game. It's not like they're getting paid more money to do this for us.

So they fixed a PS5 issue in a day. Meanwhile game is still crashing within seconds on latest Windows 11 version 24H2, which is acknowledged in the patch notes but not fixed.

Because as they said in the patch notes it's a very difficult issue to fix for various reasons. Even Microsoft who are partly down to blame here can't fix it

@@A7ZATRU This is not a Microsoft issue. Game was crashing before even though much rarer (after like 10 hours). Looks like a use-after-free error, and Microsoft has introduced a security feature like wipe memory on free now, because these kinds of errors can also be used for security hacks. And yeah, such bugs are hard to track down, but that's nothing out of the ordinary when writing software in C++. Replacing the DirectX rendering with Vulkan works around the bug, I have finished the game since without a single crash.

@@dnaseb9214 1. Kay does not join the Rebellion. She helps them on Akiva because she was becoming friendly with Asara and mostly did it as a favor to him. For the most part she expresses dislike for the rebels throughout the story. 2. Even if she had joined the Rebellion yeah that would make a lot more sense than being enlisted by the Empire. The Empire is the controlling government in the galaxy so technically the Rebel Alliance are all "Outlaws"
