I have to say, Hyunjin is an icon of growth; he was criticized for ,,unclear pronounciation" at the beginning, but now he takes on some of the most badass lines in Skz songs. You can't mistake his voice for anyone else, his parts are always addictive, if not a little bit ,,spicy" and sensual. His dancing is also one of a kind, he's really found his own style and color. Many younger idols actually look up to him because of his performance skills. 💜💜

1:33:02 I think that it's not really technicality but style because I.N is more of a lyrical singer while Seungmin is a pop-rock singer. I.N's singing style is very classical (not standard, I really mean classic like church style) and he mainly sings in high notes which is very unusual for pop male artists (He just have a natural high pitch voice). Seungmin's voice is extremely technical to the point that you can give him any type of song and he will sound good and different for each, however his tone really shine in power ballads and rock while I.N's voice is really perfect for soft ballads

There is a viral video of him, which is from Discovery documentary film about Kpop, where they interviewed 11yo Minho (Lee Know) and showcased his dance talent. He said he want to be a kpop star. That interview is often a part of their group banter and there is several videos of Huijin and Han mocking his child dance from that interview. 😅

You don't need to belittle Hanji & Jeongin's voices to boost Seungmin's.

Just to clear things up a bit. 3racha is a producing unit, not a rap unit. There is a difference between the TRIO 3racha and the SUBUNIT 3racha, even though they have the same members. The TRIO 3racha is a predebut hiphop/rap unit. They were formed before skz and basically have nothing to do with skz because they make their seperate music. The SUBUNIT 3racha is a producing unit that was formed when skz debuted. They make all of skz music from writing and line distribution to composing and producing. Also in the videos it said they don't have official positions anymore which is true. If you were to split the rap focus and vocal focus it would be: Rap focus: changbin, han, hyunjin and felix (unofficial rapline) Vocal focus: Chan, seungmin, jeongin/i.n, leeknow. You could also put han in vocal because he is an ace. Which means he can both rap and sing amazingly and he usually does the higher notes in their songs. Skz are so unique and all membes can do everything. They are one of the only groups out there who didn't conform to society's expectations and keep being themselves and making their own unique songs. Also fun to mention is that skz is the only group in kpop with 40+genres in their discography. They are so diverse with their music and made the first psytrance song in kpop. So you will definitly not get bored with their music❤

10:55-- Hyunjin was the member who went on hiatus just after "Kingdom" started. He is in a couple promo broadcasts, and the initial "introduction" episode. Lee Know's 2 yr stint as an MC just ended last month, I believe... Changbin -- also self-appointed member of MANY a girl group! So many shorts of him doing dance challenges with gg members... Felix -- according to a couple sources (members and a YTuber who teaches Korean) has an "educated" accent and word choice. He was shown working hard on his Korean in the survival show. Bang Chan is so busy, so it is usually Felix we see helping others with their English.. Seungmin -- your insightful comment about "technical" prowess being different from an emotional performance definitely resonates for him. If you continue to dive into the rabbit hole of SKZ, you'll see how well this applies to DanceRacha, too. Lee Know, dance leader, is praised by dancers for his technical & professional approach to choreo. Hyunjin, though, usually gets the first attention from new viewers, with his mesmerizing performances. Truthfully, though, imho, Bang Chan displayed god-level instincts when he chose these teenagers (at the time) to form SKZ. Each individual adds to the roster of skills & talents needed to succeed, but also brings his own unique "je ne sais quoi". I can't imagine SKZ without any one of these multi-talented team-oriented & driven members.

I've only started and I'm already seeing each of their talents individually and when they are together how well they compliment and mesh together to become this unstoppable unit. Just my first impression I guess. I'm happy that Felix is the one teaching them English because they will now all have an Aussie accent and who doesn't love that?😏 🖤♥️

Some extra info and clarifications 😊: -Han is the one more known for writing abt "taboo" subjects, which was also presented in the video. Having that said, Changbin's music is also very deep, for example "Streetlight" where he talks about appearing strong to everyone around him, but having no one he could really open up to as others depend on and look up to him (please forgive me if I did not get the message correctly, its just how i interpreted it, and i havent listened to streetlight in a long time) He also comes up with some of the most brilliant wordplay imo: Hellevator (Hell+Elevator), NOEASY (wordplay for "noisy") etc! Han also has lots of amazing wordplay, for example in his solo song "I GOT IT" there is a video of a korean breaking its lyrics down, it has so many double meanings and wordplay! Both Han and Changbin are amazing writers&composers! And Chan is too! :) He's made so many bops and worked on many sick beats! Compared to Han and Changbin, Chan is the only one who actually arranges (a big portion of skz tracks)! 3racha have also produced for other artists like NiziU. The rest of the members have also recently been more interested in music production, each of the other members have around 20 song credits (writing/composing)! -Hyunjin is the one who couldn't participate in Kingdom because of a hiatus... -Stray Kids used to be 9 members, but 9th member Woojin left the group pretty early on in their career and is now a soloist. He was the oldest, as well as their MAIN VOCALIST. After he left, it left a huge impact on the rest of the group, and they also abandoned official positions. So, naturally, the other members had to step up with their vocals, and also rerecorded almost every song as 8 members. Back then, Han was actually the only one capable of singing the highest parts consistently, so not only was he one of the main rappers, but also acted as a "main vocalist" at that time (and he still helps out a lot in the vocal departament as he is one of their best vocalists)! Seungmin started going to a vocal coach to improve his abilities, and so did I.N (now Lee Know and Han go there too!). Seungmin's improvement is so impressive!! Tho they don't have official positions he is considered the main vocalist of Stray Kids, he is very dependable, and he always represents the group vocal wise. He's probably the best technical singer too, tho he does not have any problem with emotional singing. And I.N...this boyy 😭 He was so criticized for his vocals during the survival show and pre debut, but he has a come a very long way and is now a very great singer, one of the best in skz! Chan and Lee Know are also VERY good vocalists, you'll see what I mean when you dive deeper into the skz discography and their solo work! "Limbo" by Lee Know left me SHOOK at his vocals. Also Chan's "I hate to admit"/"Don't want to admit "! Changbin is also very good! (FUNFACT: CHANGBIN, HAN AND RECENTLY SEUNGMIN WENT TO MASK SINGER! THEY LITERALLY SENT THEIR MAIN RAPPERS TO SING FIRST THING 😂) And Felix also shocked me a lot with "Deep end" his voice can go surprisingly high considering how deep his voice is! He's also getting more confident which is good to see! :D And Hyunjin has a very lovely voice too! :D -Han is a very good freestyle rapper! -Hyunjin and Lee Know are considered the unofficial main dancers (Lee Know is also a dance leader)! They are so gooooood! Hyunjin is very expressive and his stage presence is top notch! Lee Know is a more technical dancer, very detailed and effortless! -Aaand that's about it! I also got Seungmin and Chan mixed up and it was Chan that is a great dancer. I thought Chan was Seungmin in the DP video I watched so that's why I got them mixed up. I'm definitely enjoying this group and since they have a ridiculous amount of amazing songs to go through, I'm going to take my sweet time. I actually thought I knew which song I wanted to do next but I'm starting to change my mind again. LOL. I just I'll figure it out when I sit down to do my next reaction to SKZ. Stray Kids are all about being genuine and honest about their message in their songs, so you're really fit to be a STAY, you're gonna enjoy the ride. Their discography is huge, I'm curious to see in what order you're gonna pick songs. The two main ones you noticed in this guide were Hyunjin x Bang Chan unit song Red Lights, and Felix's solo song Deep End. Both are masterpieces. Red Lights in particular, is breathtaking on every level: the track, the vocals, the aesthetic of the MV, the choreography, the depth of the lyrics... And Deep End is a very emotionnal song, every person I've seen react to it ended up on the edge of tears (it's all in English and there's no MV to distract from the message...)

So Hyunjin was the one who was on hiatus. It was due to bullying allegations that came from a former classmate which later on turned out to be completely made up. Red Lights w Bang Chan and Hyunjin is a masterpiece and an absolute must watch. It was actually my first Stray Kids song. Felix and Chan are probably the two most affectionate members of the group. Felix is a cuddle bug and will also randomly start playing w other members hands, lol, and Chan is always hugging on everybody 😂 As a group though they're all super affectionate with each other and it makes me so happy to see. Definitely check out some of those compilations, there are a ton of them. Also several about what a good leader Chan is and how he takes care of them. Pretty sure these producer numbers have gone up but here are the KOMCA numbers... Bang Chan 163 Changbin 140 Han 137 Hyunjin 22 Felix 21 Seungmin 19 I.N 19 Lee Know 17 So now you know why we say we have 8 vocalists, 8 rappers, 8 dancers, 8 producers and 8 writers, lol. Han is the one who has the songs about mental health but you'll find it a recurring theme in Stray Kids. Like Lonely St that Chan and Changbin wrote or Youtiful that Chan wrote for the fans. It's funny you called Felix an elf because fans often call him a faerie due to his ethereal and pure visuals and sunshine personality. Side note... omg you mentioned the shadow self. I love you even more now 😂❤❤❤

I really like it how Felix is so cuddly. He seems super sweet and gentle but then he has that inhuman deep voice and dances the way he does in Maniac and you're just like, whaaaaa??? Now that's duality. The reason why I like it that Han sings about mental health is because I know for men you're taught to be strong and that somehow talking about how you feel or having mental health issues means the opposite. I think that's BS, and so it's good for people, especially males, to have role models to look up to and that they can relate to if they're not getting it at home. Now that I think about it, I do recall hearing about an idol being accused of bullying. I'm so happy he recovered from it. These vicious rumours are soooo damaging I honestly feel that the people who falsely accuse and spread the rumours, usually media or maybe competition, should be penalized somehow. This is his livelihood. You don't take it away like it's nothing. Oh... I'm getting heated. I must be more in love than I thought. 🤭 Our G-Dragon is going through the same right now too and it's so upsetting and I feel so sad for him. You know about shadow self? Niiice. If they can't recover from the rumour and end up having to leave, their career is over, and the group loses a friend and colleague and have to change their whole dynamic. Or are affected so badly they end up disbanding. And the one starting the rumour never seems to face any real consequences. They get to stay anonymous and carry on with their life\career unaffected, while the other loses everything they have worked so hard for. Even if rumours are proven false, mud sticks. Hyunjin still faces backlash, and people that are determined to believe the rumours are true, no matter the evidence. (I also get extremely heated)

I.N definitely doesn’t have better technique than Seungmin, I think Seungmin is far and away the best vocalist in skz, with Han maybe being 2nd, but I.N is still getting there. The clips shown in this vid for Seungmin didn’t fully do him justice, technically he’s an extremely talented vocalist The difference between debut I.N’s vocal abilities and his abilities now though is very noticeable, he’s improved exponentially; before, even though he’s in vocalracha, he’d be considered on the lower half of skz in terms of vocal skill, i don’t think that’d be the case anymore.

T, you did the guide, I’m so happy. Although this great guide is from this year, because SKZ releases so much content, 2 new albums and awards since, the guide is not up to date anymore, but still gives great info. The live stream that Chan did every Sunday has stopped a couple of months ago. He did over 200 of them. I don’t know how you’re going to approach this but if you decide to start from the beginning, the Survival show would be where to start. “Hellevator” was their pre-debut song they did for the survival show. “District 9” was their debut song. They were 9 members but Woojin left the group in 2019. “God’s Menu” was followed by “Back Door” Hyunjin was the one missing for the Kingdom show, he had been accused of bullying in school and proven not guilty later on but he was forced to miss this important show in their career, could have ruined his career. However you decide to do this I will be there for every reaction you do. Welcome to Stayville!

Know this, after the Survival episodes every mv they do has hidden clues to the lore that is still going on up to the most recent video they released last week. They also leave hints for their next release. Everything has a purpose, they planned this from the beginning, most mv have hidden clues to the bigger story. Multi universe, real kids and their clones. Omg I’m so excited to see your reactions. Even though there are specific songs that are lore oriented, imo it starts bf those songs, it starts with their pre-debut Hellevator, you will see elevators in many MVs. At times you might want to take breaks from their mv (they have so many) and watch side projects like for example they have great xmas songs like 24-25 and a fan favourite Christmas Evel. Or their SKZ Code episodes where they do one on one talks while the others listen and give their comments. There’s a known Canadian Psychologist (not Jordan Peterson) that loves SKZ and analyzes these episodes. They also have great solo or sub-unit songs like Deep End, they all have solo songs, one of my favourite is Changbin featured on a Thailand mv by F. Hero and Milli called Mirror Mirror. There is also all the One Takes they did where they just stand in front of the mic and have one chance to sing a song with no mistakes. All these are a great way to get to know them. I don’t know if anyone really knows why Woojin left but the little bits of comments I saw is it was for the best for everyone. It affected the kids greatly, they had to rethink everything like choreos for 8 instead of 9. Levanter (a beautiful song that you went “ohhh” from the little bit you heard) is the first song with only 8. This year on vacation you see them watching and vibing to their older songs but when Levanter comes on they become quiet and sad. Update- GD was the first idol to be on the KOMCA and with time dropped to 3rd place with most songs written by him at 175. Last week he lost third place to Chris (Bang Chan) and I suspect Changbin and Han will also surpass him soon. Understandable being 7 years hiatus. I am so happy the nightmare is finally over for him. I hope he sues them and in GD fashion leads the way in protecting other idols from being persecuted like they did with Hyunjin.

I either saw a lack of genuiness, didn't feel satisfied, or had an on screen personality that I couldn't relate to. I wanted to express how much I enjoy your reactions. I watch alot of reactors for various groups, and find that you are one of the most respectable to the artist. Love that you don't thirst after them or only focus on a bias! With SKZ, they all look good, have great personalities and talent, It has been 2 years since I discovered them and choosing a bias proved to be difficult but in watching everything and watching them grow I finally decided, Changbin is my bias and the rest are wreckers. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate the feedback. 3racha (I think I got that right), definitely stands out to me, but I think it's' important to give everyone a chance too. When I got into BigBang, my eyes were only on G-Dragon, then when I started to pay attention to the other members, I started to really love and respect each of the unique talents and personalities. So I guess I made a conscious effort to keep my mind open for Stray Kids because you never know what you will miss! So I'm glad that is showing through my reaction and you're picking up on that. I just wrote a long as* comment and I somehow deleted it. Let's try again hehe My favorite sub-unit is 3RACHA but of course I'm an ot8! Han is my ult bias. I call him my male version because his personality is just like mine. He is the loudest, funniest, all over the place with his members but shy and anxious with new people. He actually suffers from crowd/social anxiety. Few years back, it got to a point were he had to leave in the middle of a fansign event and then went on a hiatus. Luckily, he is better now but from time to time, you can still see him struggle (especially on airports and places like that). His songs are some of my favorite tracks cuz' we like the same style of music. Plus, he is truly one of my favorte lyricists ever. I also respect him for his professionalism because even tho he is not feeling well, he is able to switch his "idol persona" and do his work. He especially showed that in their comeback with 5-Star album. Everybody could tell he was having a hard time the whole comeback, no smiles, no jokes, he was even sick. Still, when the cameras were rolling, he did an amazing job. I just admire him so much and could talk about him forever. Changbin is my second bias mainly because of his amazing personality. Do you know how fans say that your bias is like you and your wrecker is your ideal type? It's like that for me with Han and Binnie, hehe. Chan is my main wrecker and is actually the one who got me into SKZ thanks zo his livestreams. He hasn't done a Channie's room for a few months now because the company said he can't. I actually cried like a baby when I got to know that. And I really do miss his weekly lives. I respect Chan probably the most. He is so hard-working and loving. My other two wreckers are Minho and Hyunjin. It's funny because these two are actually the ones I didn't get under my skin for the longest time. I didn't understand their personalities and jokes... Well, now I will never get rid of them lmao Please, check out someday their 2 Kids Show, 2 Kids Room and SKZ-Talker. Those are my favorite non-music contents from them. And also SKZ Code which is very similar to RUN BTS. Will you be reacting to Seungmin, Han and I.N on Lee Mujin Service? That would be awesome! Love your vibe and thank you for the reactions!

I have been a STAY for a year now, but i watched that guide with you and learned some things despite being very deep in their lore now. There are several key points they left out: - 9th member who left (other commenters already mentioned it) - Bangchan is THE ONLY one leader in kpop who picked his members himself and acted as a main producer from the start. He is very caring. Every day, he helps guys with everything, from bringing them food and clothes to helping them sing or create music. He is the DAD and admits it himself. - Felix was eliminated in their reality show for his poor Korean and not skilled singing. It was so heartbreaking how he cried. Bang Chan brang him back somehow. And how he's the killer parts star. - Felix is not only a goofball but also a very emotional man overall. He often cries on stage, especially after hearing good words from fans. There are a ton of videos of him just crying of joy and even frustration on stage. He acts so tough in some videos, but he is a softie too. - Felix's wild duality comes from his childhood when he was a sports star (idk why the video left it out). He has a black belt in martial arts sport and won more than 100 competitions in his time in Australia. That's why he can control his body that well, and that's why he is able to act as superiour winner on stage (and hug Chan and cry after 😂). - I was disappointed that they left Changbin's amazing social skills out. He is friends with a lot of main members from more than 10 groups, and they all hang out often, there are a lot of kpop stars that call him their best friend. He's very flirty too, and there are a lot of his interactions with beauties from the girl kpop grops shot on camera. He has a nickname of "the only men member of every girl group" because of his dance collaborations with EVERY popular group in kpop. His favorites are: Queencard dance from (G)I-dle (he even danced it being in the audience when G-IDLE performed) and OMG by NewJeans (check out his version of the song). - I.N. was famous for his looks from the infant age. He worked as a model since (toddler model, inagine that!). Beauty is so important in Korea and even parents behave differently towards their own "ugly" and "beautiful" kids. So he was spoiled with compliments and attention for all his life and still is very likeable and humble person. I can go on and on about every member 😅 But I'm afraid you never read that or get overwhelmed, so I'll stop there.

So, yes, I've read your entire comment. 😘 I did notice that when the content creator cycled through each member, some clips were longer than others so maybe they have their own biases too, and that's ok. They put a lot of effort into it but I can see why you'd be disappointed. I wanted to hear more about Seungmin's baseball history AND this 9th member that left. Why???? Is he successful or is he kicking himself? Changbin is funny. God didn't give him that charming mouth for nothing. I.N.'s face has good symmetry and on top of that, his dimple is super cute. The story about 9th member Woojin is very dark and complicated. He was with the group from the start and was very much superior in their competition reality show. He was a very skilled singer and dancer, and he was the oldest in the group (older than BangChan). Because of the constant praising of his skills and role of main vocalist in the group, he was feeling like he should be the leader and that he is better than other members. They worked together despite all that and made 3 EPs from the "I Am" series (including one of their first hits, song "Miroh"), from the debut in 2018. They were working on the next album in 2019, when in October, JYP suddenly released a statement that Woojin is leaving the group due to personal reasons. A lot of rumors flooded the media, and no one knew what had happened. It is really unusual for a Korean company to allow members to leave the group that soon and suddenly. Several other members from other groups were suing their companies for years to be able to end the contract and leave, and therefore, the Woojin situation was strange. Netizens (you know who they are, right?) were saying that he left because BangChan is a bad leader and couldn't manage him well and that Woojin should be the leader instead. They asked other fans to stop supporting the group and boycott it. Woojin was remaining silent and was seen partying with his friends in China in some nightclubs. StrayKids remained silent, too, seemingly prohibited to talk about the topic. Seems that they were re-recording new album in a short time, working hard to release it in time. Several members (Seungmin, I.N., Felix, Huijin, and others) took more singing lessons to be able to help with the main vocal parts to replace Woojin. And still, they were getting a lot of hate in social media from the netizens and were feeling pretty down. It all showed up on their small concert in Seoul during that time. After the show, concert hall showed the group video from the fans with the words of support and love. They said to the members that they would never stop loving the group and on their side. Watching that on stage, members started to cry. All of them shed some tears, but the oldest (BangChan and Lee Know) managed to get it under control. But that broke Huijin. It seems that he was in a lot of stress and worked day and night and was exhausted by the media craze. He cried uncontrollably, and he fell on stage going into full-blown panic attack. He kept repeating, "Fans, do not leave us. Please. We worked so hard for you" over and over. Guys tried to calm him down, but it didn't work. The whole audience tried to help, and fans shouted, "Do not cry, we love you, "It's ok. " Oh, I'm crying myself. That video I watched is very memorable. Anyway, they ended the show, and Huijin were unable to walk, and they brang him from the stage on hands, he was still crying. This showed that group in huge stress, and they doing their best. Then, on the next live, BangChan said that "some people are thinking only about themselves and do not care about the team. These people do not deserve support. " All fans understood his message. Memebrs were saying that Woojin made something shady and was asked to leave (it seems so). In the meantime, Woojin was acting up. He tried to mess with the members by releasing his album of cover songs day earlier than the group and so on. Also, he said (in a later deleted tweet) that SKZ will be doomed without him, their main vocalist. Guys ended up releasing the amazing album Cle:Levanter in December 2019, gaining a lot of success. Their first studio album, "Go live," was released in 2020 and became platinum in Korea. Meanwhile, in Twitter, Woojin was assused of SA by several girls. Every (supposed) victim reported that he approached her in the club and asked for sexual acts, saying that he is famous and a star and that he wasn't asking for consent. He was drunk and said that he would get what he wanted no matter what. All of the girls were able to get away from him. There was no proof. But every story was similar to the other, like he has a pattern... Imagine this happening when he was the main vocalist of the group, and they just released the album. It could hurt them so much. Woojin released a wordpad statement on Twitter where he on page 1 said that all allegations were untrue, and on 2 and 3 pages he was promoting his new album and saying that he is ok and signed with the new company. Fans couldn't find that the company and its address on the documents were fake. Now, he doesn't release music and doesn't post much. Woojin is edited out from all the earlier videos, and they rerecorded all the songs replacing his vocals. It reminds me of KZbin Try Guys' situation with Ned.

This group has some of the most talented members i've ever seen. The only thing they left out for Han is that he has social anxiety that has effected at times. He has had to leave some events do to panic attacks. There are some popular ships in stray kids as well. 2 of the biggest is Minsung (Lee Know & Han) and Hyunlix (Hyunjin & Felix). If you watch any of the videos about them you'll be won over about them.

I was hoping your yt name was referencing GD. I'm a HUGE bigbang fan (TOP is my ult and GD is so near and dear to my heart). I'm a bad kpop fan cause I only listen to mostly Stray Kids and BB. You should check out Leave, a new song on their newest album rock star. It's so reminiscent of BigBang ballads and makes me feel warm when I hear it.
