Thanks for the info but it would have been nice to see the actual install. Ever thought about just taking yours apart and the record putting it all back together, as in OEM stock to what you have now?

Got the same stock on mine. Couldnt get any better than 2" groups at 100yds with the original stock. Didnt think it would make a difference with a diff stock.. Getting 3/4" groups at 100yds now. I was pretty surprised

Sweet, that's a nice improvement. Most of the factory stocks today are such garbage that any aftermarket stock is an improvement.

is that the oem barrel on your rifle? just wondering if it looked weird without a bull barrel.

Yes it is, doesn't look weird because the adl tactical has a heavy barrel on it, not a sporter barrel.

Did you have any problems with the 2 trigger guard screws from the ADL being to short for the magpul hunter short action stock? Planning on converting Rem 308 ADL to the magpul hunter. I’ve heard the trigger guard screws will be to short for the magpul hunter.

I didn't experience that. Mine dropped right in and bolted up tight.

What stock is this? The short action??? I’m building the same gun and the 7.62 metal doesn’t fit in it. Please respond??

Its the magpul stock, short action, and I used the magpul magwell conversion. Their magwell only works with their stock unless you have a different stock inletted for it.

Where did you get the ADL to BDL conversion kit.

It's one of the advantages of the magpul stock, it allows you to add their bottom metal to accept the 7.62 pmags.

No, not without completely milling out the magazine area. Even then not sure the stock would be rigid enough. The magpul has an aluminium bedding block.

Not sure, it should since that's a short action caliber, but I don't know if 22-250 will feed from a 308 magazine. Probably best to check with MagPul before you buy.
