Love that too, but I would have appreciated more construction options. For example including the building elements from Crusader. Or how about a simple "play a quick map" mode? In the classic you only had Campaign, Siege or Economic play. Not really a simple "play a map" mode, build a castle and your economy, defend it against attacks. So far all I see is a graphical overhaul - I can play the classic one on my system with widescreen monitor without any issues in HD. So why should I buy this version?

First game I ever played, back in 2002, I always had it installed since then. There are many custom missions and campaigns on Stronghold Heaven, some way better than the official missions themselves. The one major downside is that, unlike SC Crusader, it doesn't have skirmish.

I put almost all my Stronghold time in Crusader so I hope this pays off and a Stronghold remaster is following. :) I feel a little bad for firefly, looked like the peaked in Stronghold 1 & Crusader.

Stronghold is a 10 out of 10. We desperately need them to make a new one that goes back to it's roots like the first game. Warlords was absolute dogshit. I can't complain about that game enough.

I love Stronghold 1 and even more so 2. Delighted to see them release this but would have loved to see some improved 3D graphics. Manor Lords is on the way, would be a good to time to show what stronghold is made of 😊

This series saddens me. For a time i thought that sequels of the original stronghold would lead to actually building a proper castle but in a easy way without having to remember a ton of keyboard buttons. But in later sequels it felt less and less like more like a standard rts that got boring.

I can't remember if I could customize my banner,/crest but I really hope I can. I got to see my distant family crest in Windsor Castle when I was a kid. This series needs a major overhaul and bring it from 2001 to a game of 2023. I.e. some kind of a RP element - like creating what sort of leaders/troops/weapons you have. Environment, climate, way bigger maps, more resources (like from SH2), and a much more realistic time scale (find watching a peasant make one swing of the scythe take one month to do). I'm picky forgive.

Bad things decor increase production and effiency. Good things increase happiness and results to "More taxes". 5 bad things = -5 or 10 happiness but raises production and effeciency by 10%

I love stronghold but this is an old mission from a previous version of the game, even the map is the same, it’s a wolf mission and he sends swordsmen in small groups at you

I loved Stronghold when it was first released in 2001. But after all this time I've been waiting for something from them with the same gameplay but updated graphics and AI. I can't believe I'm still waiting. It hardly looks any different from the first version from 22 years ago. Talk about a cash cow.
