Things shattering, power going out and so much screaming and visually can picture how much things swayed. But it could all be just a dream I had when I was an older kid. Because of that memory, I have anxiety thinking about when this giant fault is finally going to cause the big earthquake, it will no doubt happen but it’s the timing we are all curious about.

And the numerous times they'd bring up how most of the Palos Verdes Peninsula is unstable ... Especially the hilly areas where the ground continues to move and shift ... A few of them actually told me although the Peninsula is ritzy and gorgeous, they would never invest in a home in the long term because of the many fault lines directly under it its worse than having just one San Andreas fault

@@itsmesasha9825 , You really should be very concerned about ALL of the structures, and ALL of the infrastructures too that are located within the Greater Los Angeles Basin Area of Southern California. And why I say this is based upon ALL the visual evidence as well as documented evidence of the destructions made in the past here in California from earthquakes that had a magnitude of at least a 5 or greater on the Richter Scale. Also, I'm a Native Californian and a Senior Citizen who has been in a few of the larger quakes both in Northern California and in Southern California mostly since late 1976, thus I know what damage plus any fatalities can happen from one of these larger quakes firsthand. In addition, I've got family members and friends who live in quake prone areas in various locations throughout California. One needs to learn what they should have immediately available to grab then run with in case of ANY TYPE OF A DISASTER, either natural or not like a gas pipe leak or an electrical wiring fire, happens suddenly NO MATTER WHERE THEY LIVE IN THIS WORLD. A bugout bag, aka an emergency stuff bag, is a MUST ITEM to have so one is PREPARED then one DOES NOT need to be SO SCARED. And, finally, increasing one's knowledge about the different natural disasters that have or could affect the area in which one lives is a very good way to become more prepared and less afraid of them. I'm surprised they didn't mention the one that follows 190th st. It goes from about Normandie all the way to and past the shoreline a few miles. Basically the South Bay more so Torrance/ Palos Verdes/ rolling hills will be split like banana peels

I live between Normandie and Vermont and there is a fault that runs across my neighborhood on Vermont toward Los Angeles Southwest College
@alessandronarom6751 Жыл бұрын
@@lwood432 yea that's the newport-inglewood fault line That's the whole name but there's a smaller one that parallels it for a bit under dodger stadium . There are a few fault lines recently discovered that people are looking Into. And a few years ago people were protesting because of the construction under Beverly hills high school of.the metro train and the fault lines that run through it they didn't want the construction to happen. The fault lines in Hermosa beach/South Bay h e been really active these past few years.

I live in California all my life and haven’t felt any “huge” “deadly” earthquake every now and than we get a shake but nothing drastic but now I live on the 3rd floor of a apartment building and kinda scared

A massive rupture along the San Andreas fault could sever California in half and cause the western portion to fall into the ocean. But I wouldn’t recommend buying property in the Mohave Desert and expect to have beach front property

You just interviewed a person that said they would rather deal with that than living in Florida hurricanes, we see the agenda that you're trying to push. It's disgusting. Get over it so many people from California are moving to Florida even though this hurricane happened. The audacity

It matters of not going to happen but when it going to happen. It may be a drop in the plate that will cause many of the coastal cities to drown. Forget the 7.xMAG, but bigger than what the recording could measure.

Would that make Los Angeles better, or worse?🤔
@cascadia26052 жыл бұрын
Initially, worse. But as the cockroaches (criminals) either die or scatter, LA will be once again a true golden city on the Gold Coast. Property price tags will literally be on clearance, making it possible for average citizens to buy land. As the city rebuilds, there will be a stronge sense of community and even a stronger sense of opportunity. Or maybe it will get wrecked to oblivion LOL
