The diesel version used to be excellent on fuel (40-45mpg) and was quick enough. It seems Subaru has regressed somewhat on power and mpg…

Over 11 seconds to 60! Damn I thought the US market 2.5 liter Forester was slow.

Its faster in reality🤗

Hopefully in 2024 they’ll introduce de-misters for the windows to achieve an NCAP6 rating. 😊

It's a great car,depends what u want it for, but great family car but only downfall is isnt fuel efficient at all

Ah you’ll be wishing you could get the 2.4 Turbo petrol we get in Australia and New Zealand! I have that in my Outback and it’s much better than the hybrid cars.

Love my Subaru, it's the best built car I've ever owned, and the full-time AWD places it above almost anything on the road in terms of capability. I mean I could get a Land Rover but that would be twice the price and less reliable. People love to hate Subarus for some reason but if you notice its always the same type of people -- people you'd be better off ignoring. That said, I'll give this forester a miss, that red trim is tacky af and the all-black style just doesn't work on this type of car.

At 33,000€ for 185g CO2, this nonsense tax here in France for 2024 and 10€/kg any weight over 1600kg we won't see any more Subaru unless it's that crappy EV they sell..

Wtf Subaru....I don't understand how you can put an engine that has a torque of only 198 NM on a car that will probably carry a family with 4 people and luggage 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

The e-machine adds more than 50Nm so it is around 250Nm in reality. Completely fine will family, roofbox and full packed car is my experience. The smothness of the boxer gives a relaxed feeling.

Not the best looking of cars, poor mpg, slow...hopefully it has something else going for it otherwise it will be a bit of a dud. Plus the red bits everywhere is really 80's!

Wrong people reviewing this type of car. Both look more wine bar than welly boots and mud.

Clean your windshield from inside. Not very pro, millenials. Other than that, thanks for the ryde. Yes, I know, it's tyre over there.

So slow 0to 60 in 11.8 seconds is not inspiring. By todays standards a Ford Focus is nippier at traffic lights. Humiliation on a standing start from this slug. In fact the entire range is slow on acceleration. There are betters suv.s out there. The Mercedes GLC IN Diesel format will do 0 to 60 in 8 seconds. Says a lot about performance. This is Suburus let down. 😩😩

Reviewer lacks the style and the experience needed for OSV.. Having a vehicle with steamed up windows is a pretty poor presentation..
@rivervalegroup10 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your opinion, we will be sure to pass this on. Sometimes with the UK weather and time frames available to review cars, we do have to compromise and unfortunately, a steamed-up window was something that we had to work with on this occasion. However, we will be sure to take note for next time🙂

Japanese brands are rapidly dying. Outdated designs, weak inefficient motors, average to poor quality.

Absolute nonsense.
@bondjamesbond9041 Жыл бұрын
Wrong. Take a look at the new Honda Civic, jazz or the Toyota Corolla. These engines and drivetrains are the state of the art especially the Civic. Also will be far more reliable than any European brand.
