How do you keep critters (birds, squirrels, mice) from destroying or eating your succulents?

We don't have the other critters here apart from the birds. They do minimal damage and they're more interested in my shiny rocks which they steal. I did put some bamboo sticks on some plants that I want to protect from them.

São plantas muito fortes. Eles podem ter cicatrizes agora, mas vão crescer fora disso. Em alguns anos, eles ficarão lindos novamente.
