The boy de Chanel foundation is the formula same formulation to what Les beiges healthy glow foundation “used” to be before they re-formulated it into the “healthy glow” version. It used to be my favorite foundation ever until they reformulated it to the healthy glow foundation, which I still like, but it’s just not the same. I later discovered that the boy de Chanel version is essentially the same as my beloved prior “girls” version of Les beiges foundation.

I saw Boy de Chanel years ago and hoped it would be lightweight, but I was waiting for a review. When I was in my 30s Dior made a foundation mousse that was heaven. This reminds me of that. And I use B20 in Chanel. I also find Complexion Touch becomes makeupy throughout the day, so I'd try this. If it's made for men you'd think it would be designed to remain imperceptible throughout the day. Thanks for taking one for the team. Looks like a winner. As to the Lisa lip balm, I got Metropolitan and it had almost zero color. What color there is ends up deposited in lip lines and is just plain ugly. The best tinted "lip balm" is the Suqqu Moisture Glaze lipstick. Pigmented because they are sold as lipsticks, although not opaque. And as nourishing and moisturizing as the best balm out there. You look gorgeous. Thanks for the video. Also, as a long time subscriber, I would love to see you update us on how you like Texas and if you're happy about the move. 💚

@@SusanSaysSomething Actually it predated that one. It was in a jar. Just a soft moussey wonder. You could get a really sheer application of it and it was weightless. Worked year round too. One of the great makeup products I mourn the loss of. That and Dior Exstase mascara.

I had no idea that the Boy de Chanel line included skin stuff-I only knew about the cologne! That’s really pretty! Okay…I am so glad you showed the Dior eye pencils-I really wanted the lilac shade, but there’s very little contrast between that and my pale skin color, so it would have been a waste for me to get it. I love Lisa’s lip glosses, and have been considering the Baum in Épanoui. I’ll probably still get that shade, but I won’t bother with any of the other colors. The Brun Talpa and the Beige Mitzah shades are both gorgeous, especially as one and dones!! Thanks for showing us all the goodies, and I hope you have an amazing time in Italy! 🇮🇹 ❤

I was going to purchase the Dior star filter but i heard from alot of people that it is breaking them out and that got me scared. I do seem to break out from their glow foundation because the chemical spf filters they put in it same with the TF shade and light. I was going to purchase the 2 new Dior liners in pearl purple and matt purple but the matt one wasn't instock so i have been waiting on that one to come in to purchase. Ur eyes look so pretty.

I have the LE gloss in cinnabar and I love it. I got the matching liner, and together they kapow and last longer, but the look is not nearly as heavy as the cinnebar velvet lipstick.

But, and that is sooo good, Americans make so much work to test and review these products, so i love to see the reviews! Nice that it's in the USA! Dior, only tried some of these lighter liners, also the lilac, it's nice indeed and that is it. What i really loved, indeed the lilac Chanel singles shadow, the spring, or summer lilac/purple Suqqu quad, but love: the Bobbi Brown Periwinkle eyeshadow stick, it's so beautiful! And these from Dior, well, a few lighter i tried, cute, but watch out with sensitive eyes, don't push to much and use very good soft remover. Lisa Eldridge gloss: very good! Love this video, and also the MUFE palette, it becomes more and more interesting when seeing it more. It's a maybe, they ruined my faith in the brand when making super cakey foundation, way to dry, all foundations. I love your comparison of glosses and balms from Lisa Eldridge. I use her glosses since she launched them and I may say I am a heavy user 😅 I ordered Metropolis which is quite pigmented and the shade is beautiful. Sophisticated drama. On my lips the balm stays put a tiny bit better and I can apply on the go. Therefore the balm is a nice addition to my make-up collection.

I agree that the Baume Embrace has a taste. This issue is usually a deal breaker for me. But I did notice that it faded and I was OK with it. But, I wouldn't buy any more of them. The lip glosses though....LOVE! So amazing! I need to try the Dragon color. Looked so good on you!

I just received 2 shades of Dior single eyeshadows in the shades 573 Nude dress and 443 cashmere. I agree with you the matte one has a dry formula and I have to build up the shade a lot. I like the undertone though. The satin one is nice, great for everyday use, kinda one and done look but I would still prefer it to be creamier.

I always top my cream or liquid blush/bronzer with powder. It really adds some depth to your look and the shades last longer on my oily skin! I purchased the Dior single shadow Rose Tulle (a metallic). I love it. I also got Tulle, but returned it. It was too subtle for me. I’m going to try Chanel Brun Talpa or Quartz Fume, eventually. I need to swatch them! I’ve been so interested in the Dior pearly lilac liners. I think it may be too subtle for me. I can use my Bobbi Brown crayon in periwinkle then top it with a shimmery lilac and get more color for a liner. (What I REALLY want is Victoria Beckham to come out with a lilac or lavender in her formula. And a coral!)

I had never heard of the Boy de Chanel foundation but am now definitely intrigued. MAC has a matte pastel purple shade that I believe is also waterproof that can maybe be an alternative to the Dior lilac.

Hi Sofia ! I am surprised that your sensitive skin can handle so much alcohol and perfume from the Chanel foundation without getting irritated 👍🏻 I avoid everything with alcohol on my skin to preserve my capillaries 😂 I would recommend if you can to exchange one of your CD mono eyeshadow and get rose tulle which is like beige mitzah another good one 😉

Fantastic video! Now I’m curious about boy de Chanel! The LE Baumes are more shiny and pigmented on my lips but then my lips aren’t very pigmented and every lipsticks and the lightest blush shows up on my skin. I bought the makeup forever palette especially for concealing pigmentation and the formula was too creamy for that purpose and I don’t need anymore cream blushes so it was a return unfortunately for me. I love love beige mitzah and skipped Chanel. Opted for Jade facette instead what a unique color ❤

Thank you for this great review of products that I am interested in. I bought the Kosas Euphoria blush - a cool-toned color that I prefer. Personally, I love almost all the Dior single shadows, especially a discontinued color called Cosmopolite. Personally, the Lisa Eldridge balms look sticky to me. I love the Guerlain Kiss Kiss Balms and I have four of them - they are not sticky at all and have some pigment - and also smell great like honey. Her gloss looks more appealing.I'm not a fan of the VB eyeliners - they smear on me.

Hi Sofia, Interesting that this foundation is not too dry for you. I like a few Chanel foundations but I never bought one of them because they have too much perfume. That’s why I love the Chantecaille future skin foundation and I’ll never stop purchasing. I like the fact you don’t have to sharpen the Dior eyeliners. Not sure if the drawn line is too thick and I will go to store to try them. Do they dry fast? I have the liquid eyeliner from Tom Ford and when I curl my lashes everything becomes a mess even if I wait a few minutes. I tried the Dior single eyeshadows and I like much more the Chanel ones. I love the make forever palette it’s soo so good especially for my oily combo face. I can never use very many non powder formulas but this one is just chiefs kiss 😘👌🏼I’m so sad about the Dior lilac eye liner I really wanted to try it but no thank you 😅 not anymore. I feel like lilac and lavender eyeliners and mascaras just don’t work properly I think I’ll just stick to the eye shadows 😅💜 also I wanted to know does the men’s foundation have a masculine scent at all? Ok I have questions ! The HD palette. Have you tried it alone with no other base ? Does it dry down or stay dewy ? I like you can mix and match colors. I also ask if your face is darker so you bring the colors down to chest ? I’m more cool tone on chest. And face neutral. I have trouble matching.

I had seen that foundation a while back from a video that Grace from EverydayEdit made on Chanel foundations and just from the application and description I knew this would be an amazing base. However, I didn’t order it because I really don’t know what shade would work best for me and I am SO yellow/olive that anything as neutral as Chanel’s range goes super pink or ashy on my skin and it looks terrible. No counters sell it in my area or have testers for the shades so it’s a bummer but I might just have to risk it and order it online lol

I was always so curious about the Boy de Chanel foundation! I never tried it since I wear B12 or B10 if 12 isn't available. Wondering if I could get away with B20 now! I'm fairer than you though with a cool undertone. 🤔🤔

Am I the only one who doesn't like the Lisa Eldrige lipgloss? It was sticky and patchy, it looked awful, and I had to throw it away :( But I''m glad it worked for you

I got the lisa Eldridge lip balm too! Not that impressed and I totally agree with you - not pigment enough, not shiny enough as a lip oil/ balm product, less good as her other lip product 😢

Lisa Eldridge balms are very overrated, they are average products I would not waste my money on them I hate stung by bee look and cheap packaging if I could still return I would all of them. yes to Dior Beige Mitzah and star filter and I actually think lilac looks very pretty on you

You seems super sweet and nice . I think you should use self tanner or go lighter with your foundation. Also you could just take your foundation all even behind the ear and neck. Much love ❤
