To me, Doux looks to be the warmer of the two bronzers & Clair looks cooler & red in undertone, even though they are described as opposite. I've ordered Clair as anything warm pulls orange on me & I don't want to look like an Oompa Loompa.

I will have to respectfully disagree on the purpose of a bronzer for someone with a cool undertone. Because I am a combination of Irish, German, and Cherokee Indian, I have a very cool undertone, but I’m also able to tan as long as I do it slowly and with a lot of sunscreen on. However, my tan is a very cool reddish brown. So, cool in terms of a contour has a grayish undertone, but for those of us seeking a cool bronzer (well at least for me anyway) we are looking for a cool red or pink undertone. I could DM you pictures on Instagram of me with a really deep tan, back when I was too stupid to know any better, and you would see the exact color I get when I’m tan and it’s not warm . The Chantecaille bronzer in Goa is my ideal bronzer shade in the summer, for example.

Some prefer ONE tried and true brand.

I LOVE Surratt!!!!! But they need better shading -- their Dew Drop shades are sooooo confusing and off, and their bronzers need way more shades (MOST natural tans have a red undertones, which I feel so many bronzers lack) and should be cream or liquid. Poweder bronzers just aren't it on most skin LOL! But thank you as usual for your amazing reviews and energy Lovella!!!!!!! :D

You look so pretty! I love this understated look!! You hit the nail on the head with Surrat’s description! It is very New York Japanese aesthetic. I just wish the bronzer went deeper!😢 I have my eye on their Les Etoiles eyeshadow palette 💙🩵 Another fun video!! Oh and I would not be surprised if more brands start making cool toned bronzers. I have seen a lot of posts and videos with people saying they prefer cool toned to warm toned for bronzer.

Hi Rebeca it looks beautiful on you. You know i never tried Surratt brand yet😳 but i was watching their released put together palettes, i really liked that monochromatic « melon » palette look. Its sold out, but its definitely on my list. Now about bronzer, how would you compare the warmer one with Hermes No 2, which i was planning to get it. I do enjoy Chanel travel size, without coconut oil, bronzer in medium. Its too glowing, so instead using powder, i would prefer powder bronzer, on top. And i did saw that laque, was thinking maybe golden i need 🤔 i do have Chanel last year holiday collection laque,. How would you compare those? Thank you kindly and have a blessed day🙏💗

Hello!!! I actually like this formula better than the Hermes. The softness is unbeatable and the way it goes on the skin seemingly already blended. Oooooooo yesss the monochromatic melon shade. It’s sold out? Ugh. I hope it comes back in soon. Regarding lid lacquers, I like the Chanel too but I like the shades in the Surratt better as they’re a bit more subtle.
