How are the callibration works for this engine. I ask because I will buy a pair of 150 Suzuki AP DL . The dealer told me these electric engines you have to calbtare everything

I haven’t heard of that, I’ve had no issues with mine. 85 trouble free hours now.

It’s does have to be calibrated.. the dealer must have programmed everything prior to shipping… because when you open that box only thing comes with that motor is the motor and rigging box with bolts primer bulb ect. That other box is a rigging kit nothing is programmed and has to be done with Suzuki software by a dealer..

My thought exactly! Several dealers said only a Suzuki dealer can receive them. That's the only way the warranty kicks in! Hmmmm really has me baffled!

Fly by wire is JUNK, look at all the problems GM has had with it. I have one in my drive right now, spent over $650 and it still is a piece of crap. Take heed, it is not if it is going to mess up, it is when. PB

This a outboard motor manufacture that has sold thousands of these engines with very few problems reported.
