Why can’t they just make a more economical and more environmentally-friendly engine for this car? The old Jimnys were slow and uneconomical, which takes some doing in such a small car!
@clooperman37452 жыл бұрын
Bought the Sz4 because l didn't want LED headlamps, heated seats, alloy rims, touch screen radio or climate control . Money saved on that will pay for deep dish plain steel rims, ARB front and rear diff locks and probably lower low range gearing, all more use to me than the afore mentioned!!

It really isn't anything to do with that, watch the Mitsubishi press conference & they explain they are leaving the EU due to the highly restrictive Covid-19 reaction, they also find it strange that they cannot compete with Euro emissions rules like the EU car companies can.

Suzuki engines are honestly weird, these engines are super smooth and refined when driving normally but when you accelerate hard they make a diesel like sound at first and then start sounding like a supercharging but with less whistling sound. This engine is great for tuning though.

Just out of interest, how much are OEM parts for the Jimny? Are they relatively reasonable? Like, couldn't you just buy one of these, and fit most of the higher-spec parts yourself? Given the ludicrous used prices for these things, I'd imagine it would almost be cheaper, no?
