Now the Jimny may be the opposite of what you might expect him to pick up, given he's normally seen cruising around in an AMG A4 S or smashing supercars down a drag strip, but if you've seen our review of this little Suzuki then it should come as no surprise that Mat's a fan!

I love Matt & Carwow but I don't love arrogance and entitlement. He could put his money in a safe under his house if he hates banks...but I'm sure when he gets his coffee in the morning he loves tapping his phone or card on a terminal to instantly pay and go about his day. This transaction was slightly different, I dont work for a bank but I do work in IT and I'm very conscious of the constant attempts of scammers and the likes to steal your hard earned $. Matt, this was not your average transaction mate, the bank have security protocols in place to protect you & themselves, imagine if you had woken up one morning checked your bank account to find some mofo had bought a Suzuki Jimny on your account, pretty sure you'd be asking the bank to instantly refund you the $. Perspective...

This really doesn't build confidence in the bank that your money is safe, and you are able to use your money as you see fit at any time any place. If the world is simultaneous completely flooded, on fire, and blown to bits by category 5 hurricanes, banks should be able to give you all of your money when you want it. Whether its worth more as kindling then what is printed on the banknote at that point, should not be the banks concern. I'm exaggerating, but you get my point.

Jimny's three stages: -This car is only meant for farms, it's very tiny and basic, it's not good for highways. The steering wheel is crazy, you need to make micro adjustments constantly. It leans in each curve. Don't but it. -This car is not for you unless you only want a very simple 4x4 and live in the the countryside. Don't buy it. -I bought one! I love it! Recently bought a Mazda 3 2021 auto which is a dream to drive but it sits low and is big compared to our Nissan micra. I’m seriously considering getting the Jimny as it’s got all the feature I actually like in my Nissan plus 4x4. I love a tiny, high sitting and ruggedness car I can go on adventures with. There are soo many gravel roads around in national parks and state parks I can go to because I don’t have a 4x4. I love how quirky they are. Just not keen on the price being $30k plus which is what I spent on my Mazda 3 which has all the technology,space and comfort.

It's based on displacement. If they upped it to 2.5 litres for example and left the power figured alone that 2.5 would be putting out less emissions per displacement.

In addition it’s based on projected sales. Basically they are selling too many (too popular!) which means the total projected emissions will exceed what Suzuki have been approved for without penalty. There has been talk of offering as a 2 seater commercial to get around it

Well done Matt! A good choice for something a little different. That they've stopped importing the new Jimny after a relatively short time (and not selling that many over here) means it's likely to be an immediate contemporary classic. The Jimny's a cool shape but it's design features stand out best when there is some contrast, I think the cream and black is quite a cool option. Black on Black is a bit boring.
