I added extra split rings and Spro swivels on both hooks to help keep fish from coming off. I use a 2021Shimano Calcutta 200hg with a 7ft5 mh Zodias. I also coat the lure with Gorilla 5min epoxy to protect the finish from scars scratches ect since i mainly use it for saltwater fishing.

Also, the best reel for the AJ190 IMO is a 200 sized reel. Having good line capacity is a plus bc you really can launch this bait a country mile.
