New Switch Game Leaks That We May See at the June Nintendo Direct

Credible leaker Midori has been making the rounds teasing upcoming NIntendo Switch games that we may potentially see in the next Nintendo Direct in June 2024. Including updates on the Dragon Quest HD-2D remake, a sequel to Live A Live, and multiple 2D Zelda games?!?

Let's also not forget about how Midori stated NDcube was developing a game with the codename "Banquet" which suggests a new Mario Party. Super Mario Party's codename was "Buffet".

You’re right! I would love another good Mario Party on Switch. My friends and I wear out Superstars, but only having 5 maps makes it very repetitive sometimes

Anna could be something like Switch Sports Resort or a Pilot Wings game, since those are in the same setting as Switch Sports (Elsa). Anna is also the name of a recurring Fire Emblem character but I doubt if it is being used as an internal code name it would be for that franchise.

I know in the video I didn’t really go into any thoughts on the Switch Sports codename stuff, but there isn’t really much I’d say to speculate on what that could be. I guess it could be Switch Sports Resort or a new Pilot Wings like you said.

My theory with COD on switch is that every new call of duty game on PS5/Xbox will be accompanied by an older COD title being rereleased on switch. They'll probably bundle the first 3 together, make a big deal out of modern warfare, and then just rerelease all the older games in order every year with little to no fanfare. I feel like the older COD games with their greater focus on local multiplayer will actually fit pretty naturally on switch.

My biggest concern with COD on Switch is trying to play a competitive shooter on a Nintendo controller. The Pro controller is fine but joycons in particular kinda just don’t fit that well in my opinion. I think what would sell like hotcakes is a Zombies collection or even a Campaign collection where things move a little slower and the Switch hardware (current Switch in mind) won’t suffer too bad.

My predictions: - A crossover game featuring lots of original Jetix characters (probably Kingdom Hearts IV or something else) - New version of Tomodachi Life - New Mario Party with the addition of Geno, Vivian and Pauline - Duelverse, the first fighting game featuring various duelists (from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe) - An enhanced port of Mario Sports Mix, now with the addition of Geno, Mallow and a few others who didn't make it in the original - An action-oriented game centered on Geno (same treatment as Snufkin, but with combat) - Mario and Sonic in Paris Hopefully these are revealed.

I personally think it’s up to the discretion of the person making the videos. Like some creators will cover every single leak that squeezes out of these forum websites. I try to wait to make sure there is some credibility behind them before I go talking about them. No disrespect towards anyone who makes videos that way, but that’s just not how I like to do it.
