Hi everyone, in case you have lured the Tallbird into the cage but the Tallbird doesn't make a nest, try these 2 things : 1. Freeze that Tallbird with a Ice Staff 2. Go inside the cave then come back up. Usually after doing this 2 things, Tallbird will make a nest, if it still didnt make a nest, lemme know okay, happy tallbird-ing and cheers! 😄😄

dude, forget the bunnymen, just being able to relocate tallbirds is amazing. You can hatch a bunch of eggs, and lure all the birds into an artificial, and infinitely expandable tallbird fortress that could be harvested with catapults. The best part is that it could be in your base

Yeahh Ryan tallbird gives such amazing drops that we can harvest every 5-6 days 😄👍 then by adding 1-2 rabbit hutch we can get daily meat / carrot / gold, which is a sweet sweet cherry on top on the amazing tallbird farm 😍🥰

When luring in the second tallbird, you can preemptively kill the first tallbird after it has made it's nest in the enclosure. That way you won't have to deal with more than one tallbird while trapping the second one.

Love this idea. I like how simple it is to make multiples of this farm. Just hatch 2 tall bird eggs and pen them up. You can use the loot from the first farm to feed your tallbirds and to build more bunny hatches. Great never ending food and resources no matter the season.

Ahh the bats might eat the frog legs Vol, since they can roam 2-3 screens away from the sinkhole, but the bunnymen will attack the bats when they notice it, but yeah we got extra bat wing / monster meat 😄 thanks Vol for the input 😁👍

Very good farm idea, easy to make and really rewarding! You can also put a wickerbottom bookshelf with sleeptime stories nearby so you can just put the tallbirds to sleep and harvest the loot, the only downside being the sanity loss, witch is very manageable

Yess Hieu we can move tallbird nest 😄 here are the steps : 1. Burn tallbird nest (after get that juicy egg) 2. Kite the tallbird around the nest until the fire on the nest is out 3. Then lure tallbird to the cage, try to bait tallbird to attack you (but dodge it) to keep it chasing you 4. Once tallbird is inside the cage , freeze it with ice staff, or close the cage also can (but you will get hit) 5. Done! Make sure to wear armor and 1 extra armor just in case (and healing items). Uhmm, may I ask, my current world only have 1 tall bird and it's egg. If I grow the egg, will it build its own nest to make them 2 tall bird?

When we raise a baby tallbird into adult, it will make new nest, but tallbird only can make nest on rocky turf / barren turf (like those turf on mosaic biome where we find the tallbirds) so make sure you prepare the turf nearby as you raise your baby tallbird (it takes total 28 days to raise from baby to adult tallbird) 😄

Thank you Yasume 😄 yes the hatching tall bird can make a nest too, but they need to have an empty space at least 1x1 turf for them to be able to make a nest (like when need empty space to place our crockpot / structures). Also the turf needs to be rocky turf or empty turf 😄 this way we can renew and increase number of tallbirds on our world! 😄

Interesting to see a farm that you DON'T want to scale up, lol - makes it very much a "set and forget it" farm for even new players / early game. Quick question though since i haven't used bunny men yet: are walls safe from them too? You use stone but I used a tall bird farm with pigs just fine with wooden walls, so can we also use wooden walls with pigs?

yes we can add pig houses in this set up Madelleinne, however it's better as addition but not as replacing the bunnyman because pigmen only spawn every 4 days while bunnyman spawn everyday, so if we only put pig houses and bunnymen, the farm will still works but it will be slower 😄😊

Thank you Thomas 😄 if we have a farm of 2 Tallbirds + 2 Bunnyman + 1 frog pond, that is almost enough to feed 1 character to survive indefinitely because every 1 day we can get 3-4 frog legs, and either 1-2 meat / carrot / bunny puff, Then every 3-4 days we can get 4 meats (because bunnymen kill tallbird, 1 tallbird drop 2 meats), And every 5-6 days we can get 2 Tallbird eggs (tallbird lay egg every 4,5-5 days) By getting some vegetables around us (carrot / mushrooms) and trade frog legs to egg (with birdcage), we can cook Pierogi / Bacon n Eggs / meaty stew 😄 Only during Winter that we didn't get frog legs anymore because the pond is frozen, but if we cooked long lasting food from excess meat (such as Bacon n Eggs / pierogi / tall scotch eggs), we will have enough food to survive during Winter 😄😊 give it a try Thomas 😄😊

I used to have a tallbird fortress setpiece in my private server But two unexpected firehounds from a hound wave, were for some reason left nearby burnt almost all the nests when there weren't tallbirds alive I want to make a farm out of them since I luckily saved some eggs But I know that Grown tallbirds try to kill smallish or teenbirds so what do you recommend for that? Should I grow one by one?

Yes i tried installed more Bunnyman than Tallbirds, the result is Tallbird die faster because Tallbird's health cannot regenerate after fight bunnyman, while bunnyman respawn everyday. It's not effective to have more bunnyman because tallbird take 5 days to respawn, which means this farm will stop for 5 days everytime the tallbird die ☹️ So its better to have 2 tallbird and 2 bunnyman, the farm lasts longer and give more loot my friend 😄😊

Installing more tallbirds will slow the tallbird egg production my friend, yes the bunnyman will die and produce more carrot / meat / bunnypuff, but tallbirds will survive longer, we still can harvest (steal) tallbird egg from the farm, but it's more risky because the tallbirds are still alive when we get in the farm to get the eggs. Unless we want to farm only for the bunnyman loot, then no worries in increasing amount of tallbirds 😄

Hi Brandon, at first I thought that way too, however by dividing bunnyman and tallbird with walls, we can safely harvest their loot, if there is no dividing wall, lets say we want to harvest the meat from bunnymen, this means tallbird is still alive, when we get in the cage, tallbird will chase us and high chance it will follow us out from the nest and attack something else nearby (like Chester) Then if we wanna get the tallbird egg (means tallbird is dead, bunnymen alive), then bunnymen will chase us when we get the egg because its also counted as meat 😵‍💫 There is a possibility of evading their aggro if we dont build dividing walls, but its less hassle if we add walls to divide them (divide and conquer and harvest safely 😆😊)

Hi Sparta 😄 we can replace the bunnies with pigman, but the farm will be much slower because pigman respawn every 4 days, while bunnyman respawn every 1 day (everyday), so we can only get loot from pigman every 4 days, and get loot from tallbird every 12-16 days,,, so i recommend with tallbird and bunnyman 😄😊 but good idea though, will try to find a way for it 😄

Hello Jay, tallbirds will not break wall, and should be available on ps4 Jay, because tall bird is a basic creature we can find around mosaic biome (a biome near florid postern) 😄
